SNIPPET - Quote:
Ex-Muslim receives death threats after publishing article critical of Islam -- in Tulsa
He criticized all religious belief in his essay. But he's not in fear for his life from an angry mob down the road at Oral Roberts University. "Former Muslim receiving death threats," by Bill Sherman for Tulsa World, October 1 (thanks to Basil):
Sabri Husibi, a former Muslim who is now an atheist, says he has been ostracized and threatened with death since publication of a Tulsa World article Saturday in which he was critical of Islam and all other religions. That article can be found here.

SNIPPET: “Sabri Husibi was born and raised in Damascus, Syria. As a young man, he attended Quran school to develop a deeper understanding of Islam. The school is for men studying to be imams.
Instead of strengthening his faith, he said, what he learned undermined his faith, as he discovered that the Quran was written by men and altered over the centuries.”
SNIPPET: “In 1998, at age 35, Husibi moved to Tulsa, where he now buys and sells cars.
He said he loves the freedom of American society and the respect and understanding of the people.
“I came here for freedom,” he said. “I love this country more than anyplace else. I love Tulsa Of all the people I’ve met, Americans are the best people. They’re really nice people.””
If Islam can infect Tulsa, OK, then America is truly doomed.
Paging Paul Kersey. Paul Kersey please pick up the white phone.
Islam is satanic. It is truly an evil religion. The Quran is a lie, and millions are deceived into blowing themselves up for Allah.
What an evil religion.
Christianity emphasizes love, Buddhism oneness with the universe and enlightenment, Hinduism knowledge.
Islam the death of innocent people.
Islam is not peace, it is just the opposite.
Yes, and that 17 year old girl that converted to Christianity and fled to Florida has nothing to worry about. Right.
I think it’s called a fatwa. Standard operating procedure for the ROP.
The judge ruled against her and she has to go back to Ohio.
“The judge ruled against her and she has to go back to Ohio.”
Oh no! Do you have a link to the story?
I hadn’t heard that. I guess I’m not surprised.
I hope she can make it till she’s 18 and can get away from those people.
Well .... the judge may have ruled against her, but she doesn’t HAVE to go back to Ohio.
I would argue that she, and those assisting her, should practice a little “civil disobedience”, and flee to another state (and continue to flee until she reaches legal age).
If your life is really on the line, you have to do what you have to do, to protect it.
NO. That’s AWFUL.
"Help, help, I'm being repressed by a non-existent God!"
Cheers!
You can get death threats for saying “Nintendo rules, Playstation sucks! Woot!!!!11” on a message board these days.
Maybe, but most of these threats aren’t about Playstation or Nintendo.

Pick one.
I am so sorry. I apologize to all of you. I was posting and running, and spoke based on an e-mail I received.
The so-called “investigation” in Florida was a one-sided CAIR deal. The report concluded Rifqa Bary was in no danger and should be returned to Ohio.
She is still in Florida, per the attached article here: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/breakingnews/orl-bk-fathima-rifqa-bary-ohio-92209,0,2575550.story
“A hearing in Orange County juvenile court Monday brought more questions about her case than resolutions.
Orange Circuit Judge Daniel Dawson did nothing to change the custody of the teen, who has been living with a foster family in Central Florida since August.”
Rifqa’s father has filed criminal charges in Ohio. Legal proceedings continue in both states.
