I honestly think his trip hurt our chances. These IOC officials are a very self-important bunch and they don’t take kindly to having someone who actually is important (and no matter how much you hate Obama he IS the Presidnt of the US....) ride into town and act like he’s taking over. I suspect his trip lost us a bunch of votes......though that’s fine with me cause I’ve got no use for the Olympics.......

This is without question the most idiotic administration in the history of the United States. These guys aren't even adolescences, but simple toddlers trying to pretend to be heads of state.
I believe they got their signals mixed up. They said they would have a better chance if he stayed at home.
Who knew about the tv channel mess from the USOC? And when did they know it. I hear that that is what started a bad vibe against the US bid.
