NO KIDDING!! Is that not one of the most wonderful things ever recorded? You simply cannot say that enough times. I’ve always loved Jerry, and felt like he never got the respect due him. (Oh, and since we’re talking about duets, we forgot about Jerry and Betty Everett “Let It Be Me.”) People like Lou Rawls always overshadowed Jerry, but they were never better. And like with a lot of others, just having survived and kept on working, Jerry is now getting the respect he should have had 20/30 years ago. The best thing that ever happened was when they had him MC some of those Doo Wop Shows - he was on display for all the world to see his elegance and eloquence. And he did not disappoint.
