I had an old geezer moment. I was telling this co-worker about the “V” remake and he had this blank stare and asked me what is “V”. He is 29 so a generation behind us Generation Xers for whom V is a cultural icon.

Why I wont be watching. Similarities to Obama:

1) 29 Ships Appear (the Same number of states Obama One in the Electorial Map)



2) They are aliens (not from the US)

3) The Promo says "They offered us HOPE"

4) They setup healing centers - Obama Care

5) The only interaction with the Alien goes like this

Alien: Don't ask us any questions that makes us look negative
Reported: I'm afraid I don't have a choice
Alien: This interview is now over

6) They lied, they didn't just get here, but have been here for years (undermining soceity). The exact words used are "They set out to cause world wide Instability"

7) The result "extermination of every man, women, and child on this planet"

Frankly, if it’s as authentic or more so, I am astounded the remake was approved.

If it doesn’t turn into a Conservative Hate Fest, I’ll be surprised.
