Not really.

It basically means the white people voted red and the black people voted blue.

A rainbow non-coalition, if you will.

It just goes to show you, any thing can happen in any state south and west of Massachusetts. My State of Washington is very blue, but never as deep blue as New Jersey. This gives me hope that maybe someday we can reverse some things here.

Note that Christie carried Middlesex and Gloucester counties, which are VERY Democratic, but with few blacks. A little birdy told me that a key factor in Christie’s victory in Middlesex was a swing by the Indian-American population in Edison, the Brunswicks, and Plainsboro.
