ACLU loses its biggest donor: $19 million a year

Gelbaum said in a statement. "My investments in alternative, clean energy companies have placed me in a highly illiquid position as a result of the general credit crisis in the American and world financial systems."

(Click link above for column)

Oh goodness, I hope that someone else steps in and fills the gap because we desperately need someone to continue the desecration of everything we hold dear.

We need more people to spit on the graves of our veterans by removing crosses that have served as war memorials for the past 75 years.

We need someone to remove Christian symbols from state seals that have been there for hundreds of years.

We need someone to bring a stop to kids offering prayers at football games that have traditionally taken place going back at least to the 1950's.

What will we do if these pillars of society were to fade away??????

Gelbaum’s the guy that bribed Carl Pope of the Sierra Club to change that organization’s longstanding position on limiting immigration to the United States.

If Gelbaum’s having financial difficulties, that’s great news, on a number of levels.

Just finished a book on the Eron scandal, one thing I took from it is that most green energy investments schemes are scams.

Green energy has to be scammed, it simply cannot compete with fossil fuel or nuclear energy. An it’s not just off by a little bit.

So this guy is saying that money is more important than fundamental civil rights?

Yes, I just can’t believe he actually bought this stuff. He apparently wasn’t at the top of the pyramid in this pump and dump. He must be loving Gore right now.

Very nice. I hope Bernie Madoff scampered off with some of this guy’s money, and Al Gore got the rest!

I don't have time to read this article now but I do want to read it later. I use the ping as a bookmark so I can find it later in my comments section. You will typically see pings all over FR for this reason.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Thanks for explaining this to me truth. I’ve seen this for years and always wondered. Why don’t they just make a “Bookmark” function? “This one goes to eleven?”
