I’m surfing you-tube, listening to her speak.

I like her. We haven’t seen anyone like her in a long time.

She’s a constitutionalist.

“She’s a constitutionalist.”

And Ron Paul’s buddy.

She’ll probably get treated the same.

Some one who advocates following the constitution is practically unelectable in our day and age.

If she meets the criteria set by KERA, she is suppose to be allowed to participate.

Sad isn't it?

One day, the Constitution will be reimposed on this country.

Where do Medina's loyalties really lie? With her husband's race, perhaps? Not taking a chance.

Jeez, let’s get off the damn race thing. If you paid any attention to Debra you would know that her loyalties lie with the United States Constitution.

The principle messages of her campaign are clear and bold -

1) Defending Texas sovereignty and our liberties from the unconstitutional actions of the increasingly socialist federal government
2) Ensuring that the right to keep and bear arms is not infringed
3) Eliminating property tax
4) TO SECURE THE BORDER by “reducing social and welfare enticements for illegal immigration” and “increasing border sheriffs and border patrol”

I suppose if you really want you can keep up with this meme about “where do her loyalties lie...” but it seems pretty self-evident that someone who argues in favor of nullification of federal regulations pertaining to agriculture, energy, education, healthcare, and industry... and someone who specifically champions restricting welfare and social services for illegal immigrants is not a closet “Juan McCain.”

Hmmm. Is Gov. Perry scared of a little ol’ girl? Come on, Gov. Let her in the debate. It’s good for Texas. If you don’t let her play, you’ll look like a sissy. Don’t make me start calling you a sissy boy.

You have got her exactly right--she certainly is a bona fide conservativt, anti illegal immigration, and believes in following both the US and the TX Constitutions.

Several Freepers have expressed that she is somehow connected with Ron Paul. I don't know of any connection, but even if she is, Ron Paul is right on most everything, in my book. Of course, there are some things I part company with him about.

We have to keep in mind that in all of history, there has been only one perfect person.----and we nailed Him to the cross.

I'm also tired of entrenched politicians. Both Perry and KBH have been there forever, it seems. That's not the way the founders of this country foresaw it. Today, the only way to get them out is to vote them out, and once they become entrenched, that is very hard to do.

We need term limits for everyone who is elected to public office in this country, in my humble opinion.....

I believe I’d vote for term limits if there was an amendment to the TX Constitution so limiting length of service.. We don’t need Kings or Queens ruling the masses.
