RINO Hutchinson does it again
LIES about her vote for the filibuster and votes with the Democrats to accelerate a vote on Obamacare.
She’s running for Guvnah.
This vote should be trotted out at every opportunity.
What a disgrace!
Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison was one of three opposition senators (along with Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe) to cast a vote against a legislative filibuster on Friday on Health Care.
I’ve already told her what I think about her vote. I don’t care she was vote number 61.
I also told her she will not get my vote for governor. I had decided that because of her pro-choice record, and then she made a snarky comment about Palin, that just sealed the deal.
I also told her I plan to vote for Michale Williams, if he gets the chance to run for her seat in the senate.
There is a protest planned in front of her office tomorrow at 5:00 pm in downtown Houston. Can’t get there for that protest, but at least I told her what I think.
This Texan is voting for Debra Medina.
Houston just elected a commie lesbian for mayor.
Texas is toast.
And if Texas is toast, the rest of the country is already nothing but charred remains.
She be gone sometime next year if she holds to her promise to resign after the health care/cap trade bills are concluded.
Why is Cheney backing this Crow?
We already have a RINO in Texas
Don’t forget the four that didn’t even bother to vote....
Not Voting - 4
Bond (R-MO)
Bunning (R-KY)
Chambliss (R-GA)
Cornyn (R-TX)
If you look at my earlier postings, I’ve ALWAYS been supporting her (given that the alternative continues to be Al Gore’s 1988 Texas campaign manager who wants to sell off control of our highways, and who is our present governor).
But she DEFINITELY makes it more difficult for me here. I have NO CLUE as to what she was thinking...maybe get home for a fundraiser??? Not a smart move AT ALL by her.
Yes, I really wonder...had a hard time to swallow when I heard that news few days ago. I love Cheney
Don’t give up on Texas yet.
I live in the suburbs of Houston so I haven’t followed closely what she has stated, but I read the other day that she has issued a call for budget cuts in city departments including the mayor’s office. My understanding is that the new mayor had been fiscally conservative as a councilwoman.
Although Houston proper, Austin and the valley are blue, most of the rest of Texas is still very RED.
It’s a quandary.
I almost voted against Perry last time.
Voting for him again makes me queasy.
DFW is blue as well
Bookmarked
It's called, "Calling in a political favor".
Even with Cheney's "endorsement", that b#tch is done - she will lose badly in the Gubernatorial race.
Good riddance, K-Rino Hutchison.
The problem with the reasonable sounding "socially liberal, but fiscally conservative" claim is that liberal socialism requires massive taxes and spending to support it.
I don't think that "socially liberal, but fiscally conservative" is possible.
While Dick Cheney is a hawk, he is fairly liberal on social issues, which may be affected by his daughter Mary.
Well, here in Tx we are about to elect our King. At the end of the term, Perry will have served 14 years. And unfortunately, Ill probably vote for him, because it will be him or Bill White, Dem of Houston.
The United States has officially decided that we prefer authoritarian control in our leaders. Look at Chicago, Detroit, West Virginia, Texas and the other states.
The Commie Chinese have a lower corporate income rate tax than we do, and the Canadians have a lower income rate tax. Were not marching to Socialism, were already here.
Especially in the south. But Plano, Garland, Allen, Frisco and the other northern burbs bring it back to reality.

REMEMBER THIS,TEXANS:
Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress
One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchisons amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.

Nothing can keep those chuckleheads in the Dallas City Counsel in line LoL
What a liberal goat rope!
And Garland as is a pit, Plano is out of control.
I’d rather be out of the metroplex, not that we don’t have serious problems out toward the piney woods
Rockwall,Heath and Rowlett are coming along
16% of Houston chose a commie lesbian over a Stalinist Mugabe clone for Mayor.
Texas is toast.
1/6th of Houston is toast.
The Republic of Texas? Not so much.
Without the productive to attach their fangs to, these parasites tend to self-cull in a few weeks.
Watch.

you have to understand the makeup of houston.....see any red/blue map....you'll understand. Houston inside Beltway 8 is lost.....it is a combo of Johannesburg and Mexico city....
And it was hotly contested...LOL. Perfect description of the choice.
I actually went to the polls to vote for Roy Morales but wasn't about to cast a runoff vote for either of these clowns. The commies were gonna win either way.
My understanding is that the new mayor had been fiscally conservative as a councilwoman.
Was she on the council? I thought she had been city comptroller for several years but maybe she was on the council also.
She had served on council for 6 years and the last 5 has been city controller. She was also 20 years in the oil and gas industry
Then maybe she knows a little about keeping control of the outflow.
I’m sure, like with all politicians, it will end up being a wait and see. But as City Controller, she would have seen the financial state of some of the departments which is probably why she has asked the departments to reduce their spending.
We’ll see.
Since I live outside the city in the suburbs, I don’t have a vested interest in what they do unless they start talking annex. That would get my blood to boiling.
D may be. FW certainly is not.
There is a difference, at least to those of us who live here.
How is Plano out of control?
(not being condescending, I want to know what criteria your using)
I agree. I grew up in Garland, and a lot of Rockwall/Rowlett friends. I liked those 2 cities.
This Texan will never vote for Hutchison again and neither will my Texan Husband! And, I, too, am wondering what the deal is with Cheney endorsing her. Whatever, I will never vote for her for anything no matter what she runs for and will send money to anyone who opposes her.
