Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, today released its 2009 list of Washingtons Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians. The list, in alphabetical order, includes:
1. Senator Christopher Dodd (D-CT): This marks two years in a row for Senator Dodd, who made the 2008 Ten Most Corrupt list for his corrupt relationship with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and for accepting preferential treatment and loan terms from Countrywide Financial, a scandal which still dogs him. In 2009, the scandals kept coming for the Connecticut Democrat. In 2009, Judicial Watch filed a Senate ethics complaint against Dodd for undervaluing a property he owns in Ireland on his Senate Financial Disclosure forms. Judicial Watch's complaint forced Dodd to amend the forms. However, press reports suggest the property to this day remains undervalued. Judicial Watch also alleges in the complaint that Dodd obtained a sweetheart deal for the property in exchange for his assistance in obtaining a presidential pardon (during the Clinton administration) and other favors for a long-time friend and business associate. The false financial disclosure forms were part of the cover-up. Dodd remains the head the Senate Banking Committee.

I can agree with most of the list with the exception that John Ensign of NV should be replaced with Harry Reid of NV.
Can’t take this list seriously since it omits Harry Reid.
That was my initial reaction, that Harry Reid was missing from the list.
I don’t know how you can limit yourself to 10.
Just 10 ?
Agreed, but they had to throw at one token republican in there, you know so it's far and balanced / s
Except for Ensign, they’re all D’s. Culture of Corruption anyone?
If I was targeted by Judicial Watch, it would be a good sign that I could sleep peacefully for many years to come. It amazes me that people are still dumb enough to contribute to these all-bark, no-bite scamsters.
It’s the people who continue to vote these a&&holes in office that concern me...How can people be so stupid term after term???
They did a great job on the list, however 10 is not nearly enough to hold of the crooks in Washington from both parties!
Hmm, they must be running out of money so they issue a press conference to let people know their con is still in place.
Man I hate those guys. Where’s all the indictments that were supposed to come years ago????
Did Klayman leave or is he still there?
Notice that the list is done in ALPHABETIC order, not by rank of corruption. This is a must b/c Pelosi would be #1, Reid #2, and The Great Zero would be #3. (I would rank them in that order b/c Pelosi/Reid have had much longer to practice their villainy and w/o them, 0bama would be able to do nothing.) Then let the rest fall however they choose. I wonder what the list would look like had Judicial Watch decided to rank in order of corruption not the alphabet??
Did, or did not, Obama use multiple Social Security numbers? If he did, what sort of crime is it and what is the penalty?
>> Did Klayman leave or is he still there? <<
He left six years ago. The reason given at the time was that he wanted to run in Florida for the U. S. Senate. But I’ve gotta wonder if that was the true reason for his departure, since later he brought a lawsuit against Judicial Watch.
In any event, Klayman really loves to sue — as witness his suits not only against Judicial Watch but also against his own mother and against Dick Cheney. Moreover, there are rumblings that he’ll soon be suing both Øbambi and Ahmedinijad. Way to go, Larry!
