I have similar fears and nightmares. I can’t believe how different life is now from my childhood in the sixties. The changes of the past year are dizzying. I’m so dizzy I could puke.
Occasionally I review my conservative bearings. Reasonable looking, college educated people in my neighborhood and on my TV are happy about Obama’s New America. What am I missing? I repeatedly conclude that they’re living in a child-like, uninformed, Utopian dream of their own damn ignorance.
Mark Steyn is saying that healthcare is going to push us over the edge. It’s been creeping up on us for years. BO and company are light years down the road from anything Carter dreamt of.
You are correct. As of the last election at least half of the country were thinking wrong. (Many of them have since seen the light) but the other half are the STRONGEST half of the country. They(we) are the ones who own guns, know survival, know personal responsibility, how to work, take care of ourselves and our families, know charity, the bible and justice. We are the half who join the military or whose kids join. Our half is the sleeping giant. And we have recently been awakened. We are fighting now and we will win. Its just a matter of time.
No, but it puts you on the front line, at least killing off one way to commit voter fraud...remember the stories of the bus loads of people pulling into polling places? If you worry about what you cannot control, you will become demoralized and slowly go insane...control what you CAN control, and make the bastards work for it!!!!! damnit!!!!
Voting machines come from Venezuela! Between that, the census and Acorn, who still think we will ever have free elections.

The shiite is going to hit the fan. I’m in your camp. I have been for a while. I’m not going to commit suicide but, I have a very little hope for my country these days. 2010 and 2012 voting may help a tiny bit if the majority vote for true conservatives, but Republicans/conservatives still have to work in a framework of people and politicians that want more giveaways. There’s not going to be any knight in shining armour to save the day. I’m so glad you posted your thread because I’ve been wanting to do a similar one for a long time.

They definitly make me angry. But I think the last year has seen an awakening of these people. Of course, we won’t truly know if that is true until the next election.
I know so many people who think our way who don’t feel that their votes counted and thus chose not to vote. They were uninformed and did not understand how NOT voting could be the downfall of our country. But I guess they don’t anger me as much as the idiots who LISTENED to obama and heard greatness. They are the ones to fear. too stupid to vote!

Most people presume that:
A. We’ll have an honest election process.
or
B. That we’ll have elections at all.
Either case is unlikely, and item B trumps item A.
But the key is WHAT HAVE *YOU* done to HELP?
Here's what I am doing, this year alone:
The radical left has been infiltrating our institutions and government for decades (McCarthy was right!) but I think Obama was not expected to win the election this soon. I think he was being groomed by his commie handlers for 2012 or 2016 when they were sure the tipping point was safely passed.
It may indeed be too late, but I’m hoping enough real Americans who have not previously been paying attention will now realize what the Marxists are doing and quell it.
It took a long time to establish the Marxist machine and it will take a long time to drive a stake through its black heart, but we Americans can do it.
P.S. I’m glad you got the hell out of France and are now one of us!
