Let him twist in the wind.
As long as he is the face of the Dems in Congress - he is a reminder of their bigotry.

Not for this......
By the way, if you happen to hear a news story on this topic, note whether the story also mentions Joe Biden’s similar comments.

Why are Democrats immune from the standards they set?
If Trent Lott can be dismissed for what he said at a birthday party, why is Harry Reid immune from the same sort of standard?
The answer is simple, Democrats have a set of balls, and the Republicans do not. One party is a set of moral degenerates, and the RINOS are boot-lickers.

Reid should not be forced to resign. He should resign out of common decency because his it the party of political correctness which has made this type of language unacceptable any more. Hypocrites!
BTW, who uses the word “negro” any more?

Just like Trent Lott earlier Harry Reid has done nothing wrong. Obama is lighter skinned and doesn’t generally speak in a negro dialect. He is also married with two daughters.

I’m curious who would replace Reid - I would guess that based only on the law of averages it would be someone more competent.
Perhaps self-interest of the Republicans is better served by keeping a buffoonish figure at the helm in the Senate.

On Dave’s site is a link to a debate between Ann Coulter and Sharpton. Ann, you totally gave the Dems a pass on their destruction of Virginia’s George Allen based solely on a MADE UP WORD.
You’re slipping, girlfriend.

If nothing else, he should have to apologize 5000 times on TV like Trent Lott.

No.
In today’s world of digital cameras, I think he would have a bigger imapct on would-be offenders of the politically correct code he espouses if he committed seppukku on the stepes of Congress for using the word “negro” (or is it “negroe” or maybe the “e” is only used in the plural as in “negroes”? (sarcasm).
