The latest polls show the race for Massachusetts Senator is too close to call. Looking at the history of the state's entrenched Democratic political machine, if Republican Scott Brown wins he better win big as Secretary of State has been known to play a little fast and loose with absentee ballots. In 2008 was found to have violated the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act passed in 2002, in which he failed to report and collect the number sent and the number returned of absentee ballots from overseas Military personnel registered to vote in Massachusetts. After an investigation by the US Justice Department, a settlement was reached to force Galvin to comply with the law.

I’m SHOCKED! I tell you. SHOCKED!
Second best outcome might be a close race which requires a recount. Or several recounts. Keep recounting until the Democrat wins. Hey, we've been here before.
I do not want the Democrat to win -- but I think the level of outrage across the country for a repeat of "Coleman vs Franken" would be incalculable.
I don’t understand ‘settlement’. Public official, paid to do a job,a job which entails upholding the rights of citizens in this case. A constant underming of rights sound more like ‘was led away in cuffs weeping like a child’ than settlement.
George Soros has his hands in the Secretary of State races because he knows that these 50 people can screw conservatives over in close races.

Well, it will happen again. It’s not like this DOJ will do anything about it and I’m sure the Mass. Sec. of State knows it.
He will be swinging from the Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge if he pulls that crap.
The people who cast the vote decide nothing. The people who count the vote decide everything.

Ask Norm Coleman about liberal counting practices. :)
FReep mail me if you want on/off the list.
Don’t just vote... donate and volunteer.
I live in Maine. I’ve donated three times, and I’m coming down to volunteer this weekend. If it were legal, I’d be volunteering as a poll watcher on election day.
This election affects every one of us on these boards. Play to win.
In Mass do they allow Poll Watchers or Alternate Election Judges from the Republican Party?

We need to get involved to keep elections from being stolen.
We thank you!
Close race? Demand a recount!
No way in hell Brown will win this. Not in Massachusttes. A video could come out showing 10 Coakley thugs beating the crap out of a reporter who asked a tough question with Coakley cheering them on, and the people would still vote for her/it.
Since you're not a progressive liberal, I guess you'll only vote once.
Or will he concede like Coleman did?
Or, as Stalin said "The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything". And the SecState is in charge of counting the votes and certifying the results.
Let me guess, you're a motivational speaker?
LOL! And what did that outrage accomplish? Nothing.
