Just in case you didn't knew why Air America went belly up: because the libs are too smart :) :) :)

Whatta buncha loonies.
No, that’s not it. It’s that the people they put on sucked at doing radio. They were so bad that even people of their own persuasion didn’t tune in.
How informed do you have to be to vote on a good felling?
How informed do you have to be to vote on a good feeling?
oops...
Hm. I’m conservative, and I think talk radio is mostly drivel.
Falsely accused of being liberal, then goes on a lib rant.
Pray for America’s Freedom
Lib radio failed because they never use common sense in any discussions they have. That’s why it’s so damn boring.
The part I thought was the funniest was that liberals would rather read than listen to someone scream at them.
I have argued with libs for years. What they ‘read’ are bumperstickers or short articles.
I tell them that I read several books a month on my kindle. This usually brings silence as they dont read and have no intention of buying a kindle or even a book as they will never finish it.
Next, they tried to compete. Failed miserably. Lost their shirts. Rush is still king.
Now, they're back to equating talk radio with trailer trash.
We won. They lost.
That's The Way Things Ought To Be.
Most conservative talk radio is informative and an alternative to the misinformation and disinformation we get from the MSM. On the other hand, sports talk radio is real drivel and a waste of time.
I have said something similar to this all along. Conservative talk radio will always win because the purest conveyance of an idea or philosophy is through words. You must use your mind to grasp the idea and contemplate upon it. Liberals/Progressives can usually win on the television because imagery and pictures have the capability to tug at the heart and allows you to tell a story with pictures absent of verbage. The entire thinking process can be averted and ANY story can be conveyed, even a lie.
Well, FWIW, I enjoyed listening to Rush, and I enjoyed listening to Sean when he was on talk radio in NYC. But I never listen to the radio unless I’m commuting. And I never watch TV.
I do catch what Rush is saying here at FR, but I can read a transcript maybe ten times faster than I can sit there listening to someone talk on the radio. It’s a great distraction on a long drive, but not something I’d want to do otherwise.
Of course, this lib excuse is drivel. Plenty of folks listen to Rush. I’m sure these libs listen to the radio plenty, probably rap music or something like that, but Air America was just too lousy and boring even for them.
It was pretty obvious Jeaneane Garafolo was going to suck at talk radio after he made the only Seinfeld episode that sucked.
If they were too sophisticated for talk radio,, doesn’t it follow that they wouldn’t have attempted it in the first place? I wouldn’t know,,, im not very sophisticated.
>>Most conservative talk radio is informative
A recent letter to the editor of the Boston Globe said that Brown won/Coakley lost because the people who came out to vote, you know, we teabaggers, were “uninformed”. Not so.
Boston talk hosts like Howie Carr, Michele McPhee, etc.
had Scott on regularly. Coakley declined to go on these shows.
Meanwhile, both candidates have appeared, separately and
together, on WBZ’s Dan Rea. Rea is conservative but says he
tries to get both sides on. It was on Rea’s show that
Coakley said Schilling was a Yankees fan. (Coakley probably also hit public radio shows, sympathetic to the left.)
Brown may well have been helped by talk radio. Of course talk radio also had a ton of ads for and against each candidate, including those
dreadful “Republican Scott Brown...” bits of venom
I doubt libs read very much. They get their ‘news’ from Jon Stewart, SNL and Colbert. Why would they think for themselves when they can get their soundbite beliefs from NY libs and Hollyweirds. Behar is not funny, I doubt she ever was.
