Analysis of 2012 GOP Contenders Says Mitt Romney is "the Big Gun" - Video 1/29/10

Here is a video report assessing who might run in 2012 for the GOP Nomination for President.

The report has analyst Teddy Davis saying Mitt Romney is "the big gun" because he has money and name recognition, and the GOP has a history of choosing "second-time candidates." Romney has been campaigning for other Republicans around the country and built a lot of good will. Davis says "Romney is considered the front-runner. Sarah Palin is the big question mark, as to whether she will run or not. The downside for Palin that Davis pointed out is that "3 out of 5 Americans say she is not qualified to be President."

Newly-elected GOP Sen. Scott Brown is unlikely to run, even though he has become an overnight star with his win in Massachusetts. Davis points out that Brown is not pro-Life, which would hurt him in GOP primaries. . . . (VIDEO)

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who ran as a pro-life presidential candidate in 2008, raised $2.9 million last year and entered the year with $1.1 million on hand. Romney’s PAC contributed the maximum $6800 to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in his successful bid to knock off pro-abortion Gov. Jon Corzine and $5,000 to McDonnell. He also sent $9,000 in early “seed money” to Scott Brown, who defeated pro-abortion Martha Coakley in Massachusetts.

Is the GOP trying to re-elect Obama?

Piss on Romney. He’s an abortionist, statist, lying, two-bit political whore just like his mammy and pappy.

But he did save the Olympics! Whoop, de hoo!!

I believe Romney’s parents were fine people, especially his mother. Mothers tend to be kind, caring and loving. Mitt Romney’s wife, Ann, is worthy of respect and honor. I can’t believe that is really you posting such hateful statements about Romney’s mother. Is that really you? I always thought you were a decent fine man.

Romney himself credits his long-held belief in abortion to his mother. She was an abortionist. The whole family embraced legalized abortion as a constitutional right, according to Romney’s account during a political debate. I have a copy of the video. I’m almost certain you’ve seen it. If not, you’ve had plenty of opportunity as I’ve posted it about a million times and will post it wall-to-wall on FR along with the videos of his other liberal/statist stances and his actual abortionist/statist accomplishments if he gets anywhere close to the nomination.

He’s an anti-Liberty statist pig. I wouldn’t vote for him if he were the last politician on earth and I guarantee you FR will not be used to campaign or support him. All you Romneybots need to start looking for a new home.

How is it possible that they have not gotten the memo yet?... Romney is a no-conservative-core-values statist politician who loves government...big government.. loves mandates..and is anti-liberty. He is not welcome on FR, nor are any of the other RINOs who falsely claim the conservative mantel, and those who actively support him will not be allowed to do so unencumbered on FR. Many have had their FR existence zotted away already trying to push Rudy McRomney. If one attempts to push Romney it will be met with angry repudiation!

“Romney is NOT the “big gun” according to the majority of conservatives.”

Here here. We don’t need BIG MEDIA to pick our candidate again. If we do we’re going to get another John McCain. No. No. Hell no! We don’t need RomneyCare to spread all across the nation. We need an anti-establishment, anti-GOP-business-as-usual, independent-minded, no nonsense, common sense conservative. Hmmm, I wonder who that could be? I’ve got a pretty good idea and it’s NOT a man.

“I doubt Palin will run. I know that statement inflames some people; but, her emphasis right now seems to be on making some money to pay her bills. She has alot of time for on on political career, but would risk going into obscurity if she lost to Obama again.”

I beg to differ. They said the same thing about Nixon after he lost to Kennedy in ‘60 then lost the bid for California’s governor. He was written off but returned in ‘68 to win the presidency.

I have to agree. I had to hold my nose to vote for McCain, but, felt he was a better choice than zero. Not sure about that, but, Sarah was on the ticket.

Republicans have, and the nation as a whole, more conservative. Furthermore, like with Christ vs Rubio in Florida, RINO’s, fakes, GOP hacks are getting slaughtered.
Mitt’s base is the discredited GOP elite. Which years ago was influential, and now is a kiss of death, and Utah.

Mitt, McCain, Huck are soo yesterdecade.

I’m worried that Romney gets on top of the ticket. Even if he were a true conservative, the state owned media will try to play the religious right like a drum about his Mormon faith. You can bet that you will get another YFZ Ranch scandal soon after Romney is nominated. Romney’s faith will be a target by the media. Romney will be a perfect trap for the media.

This situation will be a golden opportunity to expose the state owned media for what they are: political operatives for the DemonRATs. The use of a candidate’s faith to tarnish him is religious harassment as toxic as race or gender discrimination. That they would stoop so low to help the DemonRAT candidate would be a real eye opener for the nation. I can see Sarah Palin telling the nation that this type of discrimination is being used by the media against all religious and the media’s tactics against Romney are a case in point. She might even throw in the media discrimination against John F. Kennedy’s because of his Catholicism. The possibilities would be popcorn popping drama.

With Sarah Palin on the ticket, the state owned media will be her lunch. After she gets done with them, the American people will wake up with the knowledge that, along with the Feds, the media is not their friend. This is why this team, this combination, would be a platform of awesome strength.

But were not voting for Jesus, hopefully a follower of Jesus, one that is willing to do the right thing at all cost. Stand up for your country and the American people and fight to get rid of the corruption not willfully hurt this country because he doesn't like someone. It's possible that obozo wouldn't be in the White House right now. It makes me wonder if the sold us out, I really and honestly think McCain and Huckabee were out for revenge and also afraid to go after obozo because of the Clinton machine, a bunch of thugs that are willing to distoy or murder anyone that gets in their way.
A lot of deaths were linked to Clinton, many went to prison, not guilty, IRS audits, animals killed. The Clinton goons had to take back the White House in order to keep Judges on the bench that would not find the guilty.
WATER BOARDING NEEDS TO BE LIGAL AND NOT JUST FOR TERRORISTS BUT FOR ANYONE SUSPICIOUS OF TREASON AND THAT MEANS MANY OF THE RATS IN OFFICE TODAY.
