Hello little antelope, would you like to play with us? Coming from three deadly cheetahs, it's the kind of invitation that's best refused - but amazingly, this impala escaped unscathed from its encounter. Luckily for the youngster, it seems these three male cheetahs simply weren't hungry.

“The mole was dead inside of 10 seconds. Jack Russells are varmint killin machines.”

lol , those little dogs are crazy...they’ll eat your toes right off!

Mine is rat terrier/lab mix. He fights with the Jack Russel next door through the chain link fence. They sound like they are tearing each other to pieces.

By the look in the antelope's eyes, that looks like George W. Bush with Clinton, Pelosi and Obama, “You guys want me to be your friend?”

...or maybe McCain with the eneMedia back in the primaries, “I really like the way you guys call me ‘Maverick McCain!’ You guys really like me!”

“Dogs play with kittens, baby squirrels etc.,”

My dog eats baby squirrels. Or at least parts of them.

Lions and buffalo and crocs, oh my! Rush went on and on about this video of Lions and a croc fighting over a baby buffalo. But the buffalo get in the last word.

Reminds me of the myth that animals only kill to eat. Then I saw the video of the two tigers that went on a rampage killing 7 antelope in just a few minutes time...then walked away.

As the old saying goes, the lion may lie down with the lamb, but the lamb won’t get much sleep.

I understand that P. T. Barnum had a display of a lion actually lying down with a lamb. A reporter asked P.T. how he did it, and P.T. replied "Frequent and judicious application of a lamb".

I saw once on a nature channel where a confused cheetah didn't kill/eat a baby impala because the baby just laid there and didn't run, which would have triggered an attack by the cheetah.

Thanks for posting that, I could not find them. This is the the picture the paper had for the final outcome. Why do they do that? The photographer claims he didn't even take the picture of the antelope running away and getting free.

It’s like the naivete of Obama. He wishes the world were different. It’s not. Cheetahs will eat gazelles.

Thanks, I only searched in the first field when I looked. Appreciate the tip.

Along with the caption: “After playing with the young Impala, Cheetah brothers have killed it and eaten.”

Another news story that turned out to be completely false.
