Photographic evidence shows Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad collecting ingredients for a so-called "dirty bomb" he will likely use to attack the West.

Late last night, I noted on my Facebook wall that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had issued threats against the West, this time saying Iran will deliver a harsh blow to the "global arrogance" on this year's anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Feb. 11.

Because I pay scant attention to the Islamic Republic's holiday calendar, I decided to do some research and find out if there's any substance to President Ahmadinejad's threat. After exhaustive research, I was able to locate photographic evidence that the diminutive wannabe dictator-for-life has been collecting ingredients for a so-called "dirty bomb" which, I suspect, he will use to attack the West. Click here to see that evidence.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Rather than provide a link to the Iranian government web site providing information about Mahmoud's threats, I opted to grab the screen shot above and share it instead.

My guess is that the Feb. 11 announcement will not be anything quiet as dramatic, more likely to be something like an announcement that Iran will push ahead to produce 20% enriched uranium using its own means instead of trying to reach a deal through the IAEA to exhange it for LEU.

Iran will not use a dirty bomb—if they do the west will respond with clean nukes and lots of them. Most of what is said it all talk but, such things could become a cause for war. The nation of Iran is falling apart from the inside and they may seek a war to unify their people. Wars have a way of taking on a life of their own. What you wanted to do at the start isn’t always they way things turn out.

What exactly makes you think Obama will respond with nukes and not apologies?

Right, Obama will just bow, give a speech and run to the UN. I do not see him doing much to defend anything. But—a coward can be a dangerous thing when backed into a corner—that and given his ego anything could happen.

I sincerely doubt the west will do much more than blather and perhaps put together an army using conventional weapons. The west has few leaders any more and none who will run ahead of the pack. This is the age of ‘consensus’ and ‘diplomacy’ (AKA cowardice) .

Dirty or clean makes no different to Iran. They will attempt to use one on us and perhaps succeed. The crowd in DC is preoccupied w/ preening and jockeying for position. When and if the attack comes they’ll be taken by surprise, as usual.

This is begining to look like a Guns of August situation, if we don’t get a hold on it soon.
