Here is video of Arianna Huffington and Hugh Hewitt, on "Reliable Sources," debating whether Glenn Beck has "gone too far." (Video)

Arianna said that Glenn Beck takes "apocalyptic statements that basically fuel peoples fear and anxiety and has made them his talking trade, practically no show is done without some kind of form of inciting fear in the American people and I think that's dangerous especially in a time like this."

Huffington was asked why she did not apply the same standard she has for Beck when she was asked on MSNBC about Rahm Emanuel's recent use of the word "retarded," she dismissed it as "political correctness" and said "let's not talk about it." She called it "a very different category" and even though "he should not have used it, it's not the kind of firing offense that Sarah Palin made it out to be." Hewitt called this a "selective use of a particular standard" and told Huffington that she's "got to give this up."

They also discussed why Huffington did not criticize Keith Olbermann's recent remarks calling Scott Brown "racist" and a "supporter of violence against women" among many other things. Arianna said it was because "Jon Stewart" criticized him and because Olbermann later "apologized" for "going over the top." Hewitt called Olbermann "a joke" and "a sportscaster who doesn't know anything."

All they have to do is prove him wrong, and they can’t.
