Be honest.
It's what we're all thinking about the tree huggers' favourite vehicle and the tree huggers who drive them, ever since it was revealed just how easy it is to wrap one round a tree.
The Toyota Prius "Not So Bloody Smug Now" Special Edition.
Coming to a brick wall near you soon.

Actually, the braking problem is apparently nothing more than a minor software error that on slightly impairs performance in 2010 models only.
I’ll bet almost any model Chevy has had more problems.
Hey, at least the thing only goes 40 mph. Can’t get in to that much trouble with no brakes. They can drive Fred Flintstone style and use their feet to stop the car.

V-8 truck drivin’ dittos!
Yes. A guy from Edmunds said on Fox that vehicles are being fixed, and those ‘after January’ of 2010 are already ‘fixed’. Rubber weather mats are advised.
The Prius can have a head on collision with a squirrel, and lose!
Maybe your city has special gas pumps for conservatives where they sell you gas for half the price they sell it to liberals, but around here we all pay the same price. I quite enjoy driving 600+ miles on my 12 gallon tank. If Toyota (or anyone else) came out with something that got 75+ MPG, I'd buy one of them too.
And I quite like trees - Tahoe wouldn't be the same without them - does that mean that I have to throw away my 50 years of political affiliation?
Flame on!
What’s your cost for that mileage? Could you have the same car for less up front, or does the savings in gasoline justify the initial cost? The numbers generally tossed around that I’ve seen put the premium on a Prius at $5K, which over the lifetime of the car may or may not be earned back in less fuel consumption, depending on the price of gasoline.
The Prius becomes pious when the owner could have bought much more car for the same dollars, in which case the extra mileage is mere self-satisfaction and not actual saving of anything.
Burning battery. You will never break even with a Prius, you start out in the hole and get deeper.
I just heard this morning on Fox and Friends that the 2010 Prius is affected after all. I need to contact my dealer.
