10 Serious Questions for Mitt Romney
Conservative Examiner ^ | 2/12/2010 | Anthony G. Martin

With the latest Gallup Poll showing that former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is leading the pack of potential GOP Presidential nominees, serious questions need to be asked of the candidate.

Although Sarah Palin comes in 2nd in the polls and is actually in a statistical tie with Romney, Palin is the one who has been scrutinized to the point of navel-gazing. Romney, on the other hand, has so far received a pass from the media.

If Republican voters are going to turn to a moderate governor of a very liberal state to be its standard bearer even after the policies of both moderate and liberal Democrats and Republicans have been resoundingly rejected by voters, it is necessary to place Romney under intense scrutiny.

Romney needs to give clear, direct answers to the following questions.

Only if Newt can return to his roots. He was very good coming out of Kenesaw GA. Now he is a little bit of a Hamiltonian Nationalist as well as a Washington resident insider.

I already know the answers to just about all of those questions. I take the time to listen and read.

Romney was scrutinized during the 08 election and he failed miserably. He needs to drop out and support Sarah, as does nannybee.

No doubt. Newt is very smart. I was in Atlanta for a few years and attended a few of his events. Johnny “Group of Eight” Isackson was pretty good starting out as well but he was Washingtonized quickly.

Do you make this stuff up?

Romney, and no one else, imposed gay marriage upon
the citizens of Massachusetts.

How did he do it? He usurp the Massachusetts
Constitution. Just like he would the American Constitution.

So you know who is biased and fascist? You and Mitt.

Romney is a vicious --and proven-- disruptor.

Indeed, you take the time to listen and read Slick Willard’s lies and propaganda and repeat them as gospel truth on this website. Have you no shame ?

If Republican voters are going to turn to a moderate governor of a very liberal state to be its standard bearer ........................................HE WILL SURELY LOSE!! The Press is getting ready to tell Republicans who to vote for. If they back a Candidate, their money is on that person losing. That you can bet on!

Sorry Rey! Romney wrote in 2006 that he’d be a “stronger advocate for ‘gay rights’ than Edward Kennedy”. He is a fraud, pure and simple. Bob

The script is being written by some that: Pawlenty comes out of Iowa and New Hampshire as the frontrunner.

Conservatives will face the question of whether they want to stop him and whether they can stop him.

this whole thing starts up in 11 months right in my general turf. Cheshire County, New Hampshire.

Just what I need. Another election. No, I am not going to spend the entire year running all over western NH for Sarah.

Mitt needs to go bye-bye with McCain. I’d actually send a couple of bucks to their retirement funds just to keep them out of the runnin’.

that is when candidates start their on the ground operations in Iowa and NH. They have their field staff start making the rounds building an organization.

If you’re in full gear by APRIL, you have all summer to roam the state doing the grassroots stuff before winter hits.

We have plenty of time to carefully look at all the folks who are mentioned. Instead of just rejecting folks, why not offer some good info on them? We know the most about Mitt, Sarah, and Huckabee. We even know some about Bobby Jindhal, and Liz Cheney, but it would be good to find out more. I’d also like to learn more about Jim Demint, and Jim Inhofe, if folks have info to offer. Why not learn about ALL of them so we can make our decisions with a clear head, when the primaries begin?

Sarah Palin: "We should welcome these contested primaries ..."

And she is right. The media can't win unless they can split the party or otherwise convince conservatives to let the media control the primary process.

We the People are making the decisions. If too many of We the People quit participating, the media will win, again.
