For the fact is the Bush team, in its preoccupation with Iraq and nonexistent weapons of mass destruction, did virtually nothing for eight years to counter the Taliban comeback in Afghanistan” Without Bush, Bin Laden, Mullah Omar and the Taliban will still be in charge of the government in Afghanistan, and launching regular terrorist attacks against this country.

the deaths of 12 of the top 20 al Qaeda leaders, the result mostly of attacks by pilotless drone aircraft over Pakistan Has NOTHING 2 do w/BHO. Instead, there is a technical development that is very secret and has radically enhanced the effectiveness of drone strikes. Not going 2 say more.

Obama was required by Goldwater-Nichols to submit a National Security Strategy by July 2009. None has been submitted nor published. So, if bammie does not have a National Security Strategy documented, yet there is a strategy being utilized, one might tend to believe it is a continuation of the previous strategy.
But the communists sputter no no no no no no it is not the Bush-Cheney strategy because that was Iraq and this is Afghanistan! Beating the opposition in Iraq is "losing." Beating the opposition in Afghanistan is winning!
The communists are very quick to take credit and espouse the cleverness of the boy king in his leadership of the, the, uh, non-existent strategy?
And they expect American Citizens to actually BELIEVE that fairy tale?

Wow, I have not read the Star Ledger for years. When I saw who wrote the article (John Farmer) I was not surprised at such drivel. But I am surprised that this dinosaur is still around.
