For the second week in a row George Will made mincemeat out of a liberal apologist for Obamacare. Last week it was Paul Krugman, this week, Robert Reich former Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton, co-founder of American Prospect Magazine and advocate of health care rationing.
In a September 2007 speech to an audience at the UC Berkeley, Reich was quoted saying,
"We're going to have to, if you're very old, we're not going to give you all that technology and all those drugs for the last couple of years of your life to keep you maybe going for another couple of months. It's too expensive...so we're going to let you die

G. Will can’t bring himself to admit Palin was right about panels.
For the second week in a row George Will made mincemeat out of a liberal apologist for Obamacare. Last week it was Paul Krugman, this week, Robert Reich...Thanks Shellybenoit.
Rather ironical isn't it, considering the White House demohacks out in front advocating these ideas? Emanuel-Zeke and Rahm. Axelrod. Reich-uhhhhh.
They should end all health care for communist midgets who think they are smarter than the rest of us.
All I know is I’m tired of folks always slamming George Will - even when he writes a brilliant critique of liberalism.
What did I miss? I saw Will make a good argument but no way in hell did he do to Reich what this article is hinting at. Mincemeat?? give me a break.
Shut the hell up about George Will, he thinks he better than the working man, he gave us McCain!
Classy.
he gave us McCain!
Yeah, right, he did it, sure,
WILL: There you have the premise of this legislation and the core of today's liberalism: the American people are such dopes they can't be counted upon to buy their own insurance. That's the opposite of elitist.
And he don't think Palin smart enough, that's a elitist!
Is expecting proper grammar elitist?
Will’s been out there making the conservative case for over three decades. Whether he supports Palin or not he’s a major contributor to the debate. We could use a few more Wills and a lot less snide comments from his detractors.
He the token conservative who is soft compared to the hard left on the show.
Classy.
That’s how the real people talk! George, I mean D-fender.
He hammered Reich. Deal with it.
You’re being the elitist.
Sorry, real people aren't illiterate. Is poor grammar a requirement for conservatives for you? Is your problem with Will that his subjects and verbs agree? Is that elitist in your world?
yes
Well, that explains a lot. Sorry again. Conservative doesn’t require one to be ignorant of the english language.
It is not a proposal. The FEDERAL COORDINATING COUNCIL FOR COMPARATIVE EFFECTIVENESS RESEARCH was established and funded to the tune of $1.1 billion in the Porkulus bill.
First “public” hearing was for April 14, 2009. Not well advertised was it?
Do a google search and see how these councils have been used in the U.K.
