My wife is watching the Oscars pre-Oscar Red Carpet thingy and they're interviewing Morgan Freeman who is in a movie lionizing Nelson Mandela. The gal doing the interview speaks of Mandela as a "great civil rights leader." I almost fell outa' bed. Mandela was a hard core communist who actually wrote a treatise called "How to be a Good Communist". Don't they teach that in High School? Where are these people coming from? Just another example of the control the MSM has over the information Americans receive. Many examples of the real Mandela Here,Here,Here,Here,Here, and Here
Some quotes: "For in truth, Mandela is nothing more than a communist terrorist thug, placed in prison because he was about to launch a terrorist campaign against South Africans, aimed more against the black population than the white.
Indeed, while in prison Mandelas then wife, Winnie, was screaming in every speech that they would use their necklaces and matches to further the revolution. This was a reference to the automobile tires that they placed over the heads of their victims, soaked in petrol and set ablaze while their anti-communist victims writhed in excruciating pain until death came after twenty minutes to an hour. This was a common occurrence.
Almost always, the victims of these communists were black Africans, the people they told the world that they were working to free. These acts were usually done in broad daylight, on the street to send a message to the black community: opposition to the communist revolution will be met with brutal reprisal.
This is not the grandfatherly image of Mandela given to the world by the media. It says more about the media than it does about Mandela.
And, it says more about Hollywood as well.
Even today, Americans can not be allowed by our controlled media to understand that South Africa has a communist government. Africa is rapidly going communist as are the nations south of our own border. We are being manipulated into keeping our eyes on the Middle East. The danger looms elsewhere.
And, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics issued a commemorative stamp in his honor in 1988. This is a clue as to who Mandela really is.
There are many, many pictures showing Mandela at communist functions, standing below the hammer and sickle and giving the communist salute. Presiding over communist conventions and other events staged by the South African Communist Party.
There is no doubt Mandela was a Marxist and that he was carefully monitored and controlled by the party after his release from prison, in order to make sure he would follow the party line. Once that occurred, he was given the presidency of the African National Congress, a group dominated by the Communist party, and then he won the presidency of South Africa.
His views are always anti-American and pro-Communist, and always have been.
Communism is really only dead in the minds of the American people. It is too bad that we do not see a reality show in television about that."
Ask your typical person on the street and they know nothing about this. . .
Race trumps common sense.
Most black leaders are Communists. They find it easiers to say that everyone else should share their wealth with blacks than actually working hard. Bill Cosby is the exception.
Because some goofballs eyes arent connected to their brains, their perception stops at the skin...get me?
Sure do. Good one. . .
Any mention by Freeman of Mandela's "better half" who,I understand, invented a curious kind of "jewelry" a few years back?
I fully agree with all you said about Mandela!
I have NEVER been able to understand why he is always being honored in some way as though he was a great hero.
Cosby is one of the better known exceptions but certainly not the only one.
Yes, but I was hhrumphing and ranting around the room about Mandela and didn't catch it. What's the scoop?
My understanding is that it's a long story but the link I'll provide below gives at least some sense of what she was all about...including her use of "jewelry" in her fight against the "white devil" (my words).

There are lots of exceptions Thomas Sowell & Walter Williams immediately come to mind. But there are a lot more.
Ward Connerly, Janice Rogers Brown...
Also popular in Haiti during the 1990's.
Now that Apartheid is over the news cameras have all gone home. They won’t cover the hell-hole South Africa has become. Crime is rampant and genocide is being waged on the white farmers. Every year things only get worse.
Mandela is portrayed as a kindly Uncle Remus type of figure in public schools and the pablum media.
I was recalling how most people didn't think Castro was a Communist until he broadcast it in a speech. Just a reform-minded man of the people.
Then Hugo Chavez, and now President Zero. People don't know, don't wanna know, and if you rub their face in the indisputable evidence, they mostly just shrug their shoulders.
