This got me thinking of an alternative. I have an LLC. I found Taxact, it's looks even cheaper. Anyone have experience with it or have more suggestions.

I dumped turbotax years ago when I learned the software contained a tracking virus. (C-dilla)

Turbo tax has a vested interest in people paying taxes. Why would they support conservatives at all?

I used TaxAct last year and this year and it was great. The price is right too; about $18 for Fed+State.

So, why isn’t there an opposition twittering to each of the companies who withdraw sponsorship due to liberal backlash?

I used to use Turbo tax. Haven’t used it in years. It was a waste of $49.95

No experience with TaxAct, and I don't tweet, but TurboTax can just regale themselves in the fact that they've lost at least one more customer.

Folks, the best tax preparation site is TaxAct, by far. You get everything done just as well as Turbo Tax, but for far less money.

I’ve been using it for years.

The cool thing with TaxAct is you can use the web version for free right up until the filing; so you can get a good idea if you like the product.

Turbo Tax sucks. It was good years ago. I also do not trust them keeping information private. I heard theu resell data about people based on their income and other info on the tax return which is an outrage.
