Facts About the Guardians of the Free Republics 2010-04-06 13:10:57 (Links in this writing are to articles which contained the false claims.)

1. The letters to the governors was non-partisan. Republican and democrat governors received the letters. They don't care which party you belong to as both parties are unlawful. Tim Turner has worked for Homeland Security, "under" Bush, has quit and denounced Bush as one of the most evil men belonging to one of the most evil families of our time. This is not about black or white. Believe me, this movement is not anti-anything except anti-tyranny.

2. It's not sedition to remove a tyrant anymore than it is theft for a woman to take back her purse from a purse snatcher. All people have the right of Postliminium, as stated in the law of nations, which says that things taken by an enemy remain property of the original owner and can be reclaimed once apprehended.

3. Governors are not asked to step down and go home. Rather, they are told that their seat as governor of a corporation is being changed to the seat of a rightful de jure republic governor.

4. The letters were not threatening.

5. They are not "extremists" anymore than an accountants who follow proper book keeping procedure are extremists. People who support the constitution fully will support the Guardians of the Free Republics.

6. All governors have received one, regardless of whether they will admit that they have.

7. The letters have not been published by the media because the content is so compelling that Americans would come out of the woodwork to support them.

8. The Guardians of the Free Republics have not published the letters because they don't want people coming out of the woodwork to revolt once they learn the truth about our country.

9. The recession did not make the Guardians of the Free Republics do this. They, along with Tim Turner, have been creating ways to set the people free from corporate government for years. The rise of people clinging to these ideologies is related to many things but the Guardians of the Free Republics are not reacting to a bad economy, a so-called black president/CEO, or anything other than freedoms being crushed on a daily basis.

10. The Guardians of the Free Republics have nothing to do with Terry Nichols or Timothy McVeigh. This claim is either stupidity or an attempt to plant seeds in the mind of the public that the Guardians of the Free Republics are illegitimate.

11. The Guardians of the Free Republics do not reject all forms of government. They reject unlawful forms of government that do not line up with our constitution.

12. The Guardians of the Free Republics do believe in paying lawful taxes (income taxes) and also believe in obeying laws.

13. The Guardians of the Free Republics are not a Sovereign Citizen Group, as there is no such thing as a "sovereign citizen". Those words are opposites. "Sovereign people" is the accepted phrase. A sovereign's master is God while a citizen's master is government.

14. The Guardians of the Free Republics are not right wing nuts anymore than George Washington was a right wing nut.

First, let me say I am not a member of this group. This is an apparent attempt by one of the group members to counter some of the false claims made by the gov't-controlled main stream media, about the "Guardians of the Free Republics" which made headline news last week. This is the group that sent the 50 Governors letters requesting them to swear an oath to the Constitution & the De Jure ("lawful") court system, denouncing the fictional corporate US Federal Government & their "De facto" ("legal") court system. The American people, via peaceful means, have now reinhabited the "De jure," lawful Grand Juries in all 50 state jurisdictions. This should be cause for celebration for all lovers of the Constitution for the united States of America, IMHO.

That’s just lame.

Most of the rest of it has at least some merit though.

Interesting....Oh, the GFR didn’t publish these letters — they were released by some of the Governors to the Leftist Media who JUMPED at the opportuinity to print them. Just for the record... And no, I’m NOT a member of GFR...

It’s a given that not everyone will agree with everything proclaimed by this group, or any other group for that matter. (I’m sure the anti-Bush comments will not be welcome by most here, to say the least) however, at least these folks are trying to do something to return us to the lawful republic that this once great nation stood for. Of course, whether or not it works remains to be seen. I for one appreciate the fact that they are going about it in an unarmed, peaceful way.

NO, it’s a kindness. If American men and women TRULY understood just how far down the rabbit hole this goes, there WOULD be revolt. This is for the protection of the members serving in our corporate government(s) presently. This is to avoid anarchy and chaos. If you want to see the Declaration, do a search. It’s out there.

No it isn’t — it’s nuts.

That attitude puts these GFR folks right square in the category of those who, like our Administration and our Congress, think they’re elite. They, like Congress, consider the rest of us to be morons who can’t handle the truth and need to be led around by the hand (i.e. “governed”).

Bull hockey on that.

My take is that a citizen is a master of the government, while a subject's master is the government.

That's why, in part, only citizens are allowed to vote, and why the Constitution demands that only a Natural Born Citizen, may be President.

This whole “movement” smells to me.......It sounds like a bunch of leftists.....NO mention of Obama or Gov’t tyranny on the Democrat side. I think these are a bunch of Anarchists who are using the Grass Roots anti-obama sentiment for their own agenda.....

They've stolen FR's name and FR's eagle in their logo.

“Very GOOD chance it will make conservatives look nuts!”

Been a lot of that going around lately. FWIW, the “group” may not be much of a group after all:

FR can afford to send those jokers a bunch of letters, they seem to like sending them, let’s see if they like receiving them!

So how do you propose we return to lawful government without some folks leading the charge? Does not the Tea Party & Tea Party express movements have “leaders” who organize the ranks? As far as I can see, these folks have the best interest of all Americans at heart. They are not “anti-gov’t” they are for “lawful govt” that the republic(s) once stood for.
