In the current controversy over the 80,000-troop 'Consequence Management Response Force' that is charged in part with 'helping with civil unrest,' the hypocrisy of the Leftwing has become abundantly clear when it comes to standing armies being used against American citizens.
The program was planned and the first stage was implemented under the administration of George W. Bush. At that time the program involved only one brigade of the 3rd infantry at Fort Stewart.
Since 2008 the program has been expanded to include personnel from all branches of the military, far beyond Fort Stewart, and far beyond the meager 6000 troops or so that were initially part of the plan.
The Leftwing, however, claims that Americans should not be worried, that this program is designed only to serve the citizens in the event of a major, catastrophic national disaster--although the plan itself states plainly that part of its role is to 'help with civil unrest.'

I totally agree. I dis-agree that armed revolt is the way to fix it.
Christian revival is. That brings healing to people, and puts the fear of God into them ... something lacking in our government, no matter who we elect.

Personal self-defense against getting killed by randoms is probably the context given Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2:13.

I am partly serious - the problem stems from apostasy in the church and the long term solution requires reformation within the church. Right. God helped the Jews in battle when they were righteous, and fought against them when they were sinful, like us here in the USA.

We have the government we deserve with our lack of faith, repentance, fasting, ... and also given our great sinfulness. Obama and his minions were voted in by this “Christian” nation, because the pastors in the pulpits are overwhelmingly lukewarm.

... we are toast without a Christian revival. A Christian revival is an “all purpose” tool. Works all the time, works every time.

A Christian revival with miracle healings, deliverances from demons, and words of knowledge will have metric tons of effect on the Democrats/Atheists who have turned lying into the national pastime, as well as sluts within the church.
