Al recently cashed in some carbon credits ... and went on a Mediterranean diet, gobbling up a $9 billion Montecito-area property. Rumor has it he may help offset the economic crisis in Greece, too ... by purchasing all of ancient Athens.

Here's what reducing your carbon footprint could look like, if you were funded by Marxist revolutionaries and bought an ocean-view villa on 1.5 acres with a swimming pool, spa and fountains, six fireplaces, five bedrooms, and nine bathrooms.

Conspicuously absent from the swimming pool are Al's pet polar bears.

An embittered former Senator and Vice President Al Gore is seen here en-route back to prison after a federal appeals court refused to review his 20 year sentence for GROSS HYPOCRICY and his lead role as spokesman in the “Climategate” fraud conspiracy.

The same court recently rejected the appeals of the lengthy sentences of the 137 alleged UN “scientists” – Gore’s co-conspirators – for falsifying data supporting so-called Cap and Trade legislation that trial testimony disclosed would have virtually destroyed what remained of the U.S. economy while unjustly enriching Gore and a cabal of insiders.

During his trial, Gore was notified by the Nobel Committee that he would have to return the large monetary prize and the gold metal awarded him in 2009. He told reporters that the last of his prize money had gone to the lawyers and Tipper pawned his medal when she left him for an achondroplastic dwarf NBA center and filed for divorce after his conviction.

You can go to www.zillow.com and check out estimated house prices in the Santa Barbara are. the house details give bedroom/bath count and lot size.

Referencing the LA Times details, it's pretty easy to guess which house it is.

I think it is a few houses down the road from the one pictured based on the 9 bathrooms and the 1.5 acre lot description.

Now old Al does need 9 bathrooms since he drinks lots of iced tea....:^)

...and he did buy it at about 450 ft above sea level so he would have a future beach front property....
