Sestak Case Deepens--Did White House Commit a Felony by Offering a Job to Sestak?
Conservative Examiner ^ | 5/25/2010 | Anthony G. Martin

U.S. Law states that it is a felony to offer a candidate for public office anything of substance, such as a job, in exchange for that candidate dropping out of a race. Pennsylvania Democrat Joe Sestak, who defeated Arlen Specter for the Democratic Senatorial nomination, claims the White House did exactly that.

In explaining the law on Fox Business Network's 'Happy Hour' program, Judge Andrew Napolitano stated,

Well the ramifications are potentially enormous. I mean to offer someone something of value in order to affect their official behavior as a member of Congress is a felony. We call it a bribe. To offer someone something of value to affect the outcome of an election is a felony. Each of those carries five years with them. The government has an affirmative obligation to investigate this. And Congressman Sestak who is a decent guy, we've all interviewed him. He sent you handwritten thank you notes after he was on your show, whether he agrees with you or not. Congressman Sestak has an obligation to tell the truth. Who offered him a job? What was the quid pro quo and what was the job? If he doesn't say that voluntarily a federal prosecutor should bring him before a grand jury and the grand jurors will inquire of his knowledge as we like to say.

This morning Dick Morris said this is an impeachable offense. I doubt it, but I can dream.

Well, it certainly is an impeachable offense. We'll see if anyone has the character or fortitude to follow it up. Like you, I doubt it.

Lets pray that we finally have Obummer. But I bet not! It will be a guy like Rambo or Axelrod to take the fall on this issue.

Don't be silly. Our Community-Organizer-in-Chief would no more commit a crime than his Justice Department would ignore voter intimidation. They are too pure and idealistic for such conduct.

Presstitute Chuck Todd got his talking points ...

Rahm Emanuel and Chuck Todd want private time
By: Nikki Schwab and Tara Palmeri
Washington Examiner
05/17/10 9:00 PM EDT

NBC Chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd and White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel were spotted at the Oval Room on Monday afternoon sitting down for lunch.

For a starter, both ordered white asparagus soup and then Todd went on to the tuna tartare and Emanuel went with a chicken Caesar salad. The restaurant manager told Yeas & Nays they specifically requested for “an area where they could talk” (away from the common folk, that is).

“It’s a lovely status symbol for both of them,” a fellow member of the White House press corps told Yeas & Nays, noting most don’t get the chance to dine casually with top administration officials.

Wouldn’t it be funny if Spector not only lost his seat in the Senate, but ended up in jail if this goes to court. But think about it? Who would bring it to court? Surely not the Nobama administration.

Did White House Commit a Felony by Offering a Job to Sestak?

Yes. Buildings are always committing crimes without human involvement.

Those kind of guys don't take the fall . If either one is involved you can bet they observed the adage CYAWP . CYAWP = Cover your actions with paper .

This WH commits felonies all day long.

However, it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s some pissant like Sestak that ends up being BHO’s undoing rather than the obvious big stuff.

It was a feint to distract and distance Sestak from Obama so he could get the nomination. Otherwise, he would be forthcoming about who made the offer and what exactly it was. Withholding that information might make him an accessory.

There are only two options. Either he is an outright liar, or he is protecting a felon.
