It may seem like a small thing, considering the state of the union and international issues of the day, but let me share some facts surrounding a most recent illustration of the untrustworthiness of Americas mainstream media.
Yesterday, Todd and I spent our Memorial Day evening exchanging emails with NBC in regards to the interview they conducted this morning with our new neighbor. As youll recall, the journalist Joe McGinniss moved all the way from Massachusetts to Wasilla literally right next door to our home after tracking us down in various forums this past year, so that he could be close to his subject matter while he writes his book about me.
When NBC asked to interview me for this story, I politely declined. NBC then asked for a statement from us and promised to run it as a full screen graphic during their interview with McGinniss. We were glad to provide a statement and appreciated NBCs promise to run it. Todd and I both crafted the statement very carefully because our new neighbor has taken to accusing us of inciting hatred a charge which we obviously take very seriously. We knew that he would make more accusations like this, and we felt very strongly that such comments should not go unanswered. So, we emailed NBC the following statements:

Todd should go visit him with a 12-pack and a 45 ACP.
Too bad she did not post NBC’s written promise to put their comment on the air.
I’m hoping some snooping citizen-journalist can get photos of his azz in boxers and black socks with those elastic pull-up things.
That is what I was thinking when all this started.
She should have a video camera on his house 24/7 then edit it for the “good stuff”.
From what I read, Matt Lauer kissed McGinnis’s ass so badly today I am shocked he was even able to speak with his lips so firmly pressed on his behind. Is it any wonder NBC is down the toilet..gee Matt, how come you love kissing the asses of stalkers and pedophiles..NBC = GE = Soros..who watches NBC anyway..5 people
McGinniss is a classic pervert/stalker psychopath.
When Sarah talks, millions listen. This is a win - win for her, no matter what NBC did. Loving it.
I’ve previously suggested a traffic jam at the end of his driveway and to sweep the walls/windows of his house at night with lasers.
How hard is it going to be to report on the demise of Øbama? To say that he lost the 2012 elections will be like swallowing vinegar. Indeed, the LSM (aka=Pravada, USA) would rather take a big swig of vivegar, or any other foul tasting thing than to say Ø lost.
I’m sure the Palin family isn’t loving it. This sucks!
I was thinking of a fun loving biker gang.
Sarah, please STOP playing the roll of Charlie Brown by letting the SRM hold the football. You know the outcome of that...so, don’t play their game anymore. You have shown that you can get your message out without them.
Doesn’t she have a professional publicist to interface with the press????
She doesn’t need a publicist.
This lady is a genius wordsmith. Her line about McGinnis being able to see her daughter’s bedroom, etc, could wind up being quoted in this jerk’s obituary someday.
How about “death panels?” That phrase landed a harder blow against Obamacare that all the chatter of all Freepers put together.
The national press folks may be a bunch of idiots on most subjects but when it comes to putting words together they know a natural wordsmithing phenom when they see one. They hate her for it, not just because she’s on the right instead of the left, but because her communication skills put them in the deep shade.
Peggy Noonan just wishes she could put her points across as powerfully and with as few perfect words as Palin can.
i’m surprised Sarah has not learned she cannot trust the liberal media. ever.
of course they wouldn’t run your statements. it would exonerate you and prove your point... which would diminish the impact one of their cohorts has on the publics opinion of Sarah
she really should stop giving them ratings fodder... and in the future, get it all in writing.
