Republicans to Democrats:Confirm your Partisan Judicial Nominee along Party line.

59-41

That’s all you need to know regarding the Elena Kagan confirmation to the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Those are the numbers by which she most likely will be confirmed, unless of course some Republican Senator doesn’t get it and decides to cast his or her vote with Democrats to confirm her. (see article)

By “doesn’t get it,” I’m referring to why Kagan was selected by president Soetoro. Kagan is the Progressive’s attempt to politicize the Supreme Court. If you haven’t noticed by now Barry Hussein Soetoro and Democrats have politicized everything—every aspect of government and every aspect of our lives since Democrats took complete control of government.

I wish the title was true, that the GOP Senators would vote that way.

You know darned well that Snowe, Collins, Grahamnesty, Voinovich and probably Brown and even HATCH will vote to confirm. The fraud this “woman” perpetrated while in the Clinton administration’s service should disqualify her—period! And republican senators on the committee should have made that quite clear by demanding that ANY republican who voted to confirm should be removed from the senate. But of course, that would require a SPINE...something with which 90% of republicans are completely unfamiliar. All those bones make it too difficult to curl up under your desk, after all. Just ask Mitchie the Kid.

Yeah I know, I know... but I gotta say it so that when the RINO’s show themselves there will be no doubt about their treachery!

Liberals look at judges as super-legislators. When issues go into the courts, they want judges to overturn established laws because they aren’t “fair” to certain allegedly oppressed groups, or don’t treat all people “equally”, or don’t adhere to a liberal world view.

Liberal and conservative views of the judiciary are polar opposites. The liberals want the judges to “fix” the alleged unfairness or problems they see in our established laws. The judges are a top level legislature in their view.

Wrong!! She will be confirmed by most of the Senate. Too many RINOs have already stated that they plan to vote to confirm her. Only Orrin hatch has said he would oppse.

If Kagan is confirmed it will be up to us to continue hammering her in the media with the truth of what this crazy woman is.

I would imagine that Roberts and Alito were voted along party lines. I know that President Obama said no to at least one of them. Why are Republicans acting like this is the first time a vote has been along party lines. I don’t get it. I remember that Republicans were furious that Democrats did not like President Bush’s pick for the Supreme Court and even upset that some Democrats did not vote for them. I feel like this is some crazy situation where this is the first time we are going through this process. Why are people acting like this????

I don’t believe that a Republican Senator can demand another Republican Senator leave the Republican Party. It does not quite work like that....lol.

Something else will get our attention. The last pick Sotomyore (SPELLO) was supposed to be discussed forever after but not a peep after the confirmation. Same with the liberals when “evil” Alito and Roberts were chosen...not a peep from the liberals. I think this is talked about only during confirmation. Not too much discussion afterwards.
