I Need I Water Proof Laptop While Floating In My Pool!!!
My pool | wha? | FP

Posted on 07/06/2010 8:02:39 AM PDT by Focault's Pendulum

It's really really hot today. I got to hit my pool. It's mandatory. I've got a really neat floaty thing to relax in. (Day off)

So my question is...where do I get a good waterproof laptop to relax with. Otherwise I'm stuck in the air conditioned home using too much electricity which probably depletes something in the atmosphere.

Not that I'm adverse to depleting anything, especially our current White House resident, but I really could use some advice on water resistance and possible electrocution. (I never trust those batteries).

Clevo has just unveiled their latest 8.9-inch T890M notebook. A tough guy that can submerge under water, yet still work like a charm, the new Clevo T890M is being run by an Intel Atom processor, has a WSVGA touchscreen display (1024 x 600 resolutions) and Wi-Fi connectivity (in case you meet Nemo and it needs to read his email).

If it’s your day off, why not just relax and not worry about being on the computer?

google Tuffbook

Or simply borrow someone else’s PC.

Or use some of Obama’s stash to buy a replacement if yours gets wet. You deserve it. No, you’re entitled to it.

Or print our every page of every current thread and don’t worry about the PC — just the paper. The pool boy/girl can clean up any mess from the papers in the pool.

Or get a grant to study the effects of pool water on internet usage, particularly how it might affect women, children and minorities ... or protected classes.

Yeah,I was thinking the same thing. He’s going to run from store to store getting a laptop wasting time, spend a bunch of time setting it up, loading programs, websites, etc.... Bye the time your done it will be tonight.

Enjoy your day off... visit a park, friend or family. I’m sure on your death bed someday you’ll be boasting about that waterproof laptop you bought 60 years ago? NOT!

You’ve never relaxed? Ever been camping or fishing or hunting?...anything that didn’t require a power supply?

How does the heat get out when it’s not underwater?

I am leaving for a camping trip over several days. Our only technology will be a radio and my son’s cell phone. No electricity, no internet, it will be fun. Cleansing.
