Glenn Beck is warning us to grab EVERYTHING we can off the internet because they are about to shut it down. They are about to shut down talk radio through regs, and even Fox News is in danger. He urged everyone to immediately connect with your local 9-12/tea party groups, your churches, your neighbors, etc. He urged us to let our local police and military know we stand with them, let them know who we are. Tell your pastors, rabbis, priests to read the sermons that led to the American Revolution. Read them. Do it now.

Actually, the Obamists have been pretty clear about what their intentions are with respect to media they don’t control.
Beck is becoming a mockery of himself. He must be vying for the Orly Taitz Award.
The craziest things Beck says he doesn’t say. He just rolls the tape and lets the Obamists speak for themselves.
The problem I have with his rationale is that while he spouts so much doom and gloom and in truth this administration is destroying our country, yet he still urges all of us not to cause trouble, urges us to "be nice" and preaches nonviolence. Tell us Beck, what country has ever overthrown a tyrant by peaceful means? I'd like to ask Beck if he wants us to go silently into the cattle cars?
It's all well and good to sound the alarm but to then urge the populace to do nothing is irresponsible.
Time will show the true extent of damage that Beck alone has done to the leftist agenda in this country.

I didn’t hear him say, “Grab everything off the internet,” but then, my son did interrupt me for a second to show me his ant cannon... (don’t ask)
He said the same things that we’re saying here on FR every day.
This administration has no boundaries. They will, at one point, try to filter the internet and shut down free speech. (Fairness Doctrine anyone?)
That America is the last bastion of freedom. That, if we fall, nobody will be there to save us. (People have been saying since the 80’s that if America is no longer free that we’ll have no place to defect to.)
He said that we should reach out to people with the truth. He warned that we should not inflate or exaggerate anything or we’d sacrifice our credibility. That we didn’t need to.
There’s a kid who comes over to visit often. If he’s here at 4PM, Glenn is on and we watch it. Last week he confessed that he’d always heard that Beck was a paranoid, raving loon, but now that he’s actually listening to the man it didn’t make sense. “It’s all the same stuff that good people have been preaching for years, yet these same people hate him. I don’t get it.”
I have to ask. My son insists. lol
Good call. Anyone who remembers how to set up packet radio may be in big demand. Not to mention the ability to install strong encryption.
Frankly like him or hate him. What he says has a solid ring of truth.

Add to this new legislation in the works for a shut off switch operated by the FCC and White House that could shut down the pipes (Internet) in the event of a National Emergency. That emergency could be just around the corner with Iran, Israel, Russians Bears and of course China.
When you couple all this with the fact that we have become utterly dependent on Internet traffic for damn near everything, it is indeed a scary scenario!
Add to this again the cloud computing fad that has taken over self managed data bases, and this could explain Beck's statements and urgency.
I think anyone with half a brain would concede that entirely too much control has been given to the government and various agencies have indicated that they will act independently is they think the Congress won't write the laws for them to act legally. As we can now see clearly that Obama flaunts the law and the courts with this recent moratorium business, I think it wise to begin the process of hunkering down just in case. Also, by more ammunition.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
