The Pentagon is home to many half-baked ideas. The bureaucracys latest such scheme: a survey of our troops to ascertain their feelings about open homosexuality within the ranks.
The Pentagon hierarchy has announced that it has sent a survey about openly gay military service to 400,000 soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines. Half of the military personnel being surveyed are on active duty; the other half are in the reserves and National Guard.
Im sure our military leaders mean well, but lets be honest: The feelings of our servicemen and women do not and should not matter to anyone. Indeed, no one in the Pentagon really cares what our military personnel think about this issue. Or they care only to the extent that they can identify a problem or politically incorrect attitude, which they intend to neutralize or remedy.

Here's your link:
Now you can do a "View Source" of the page to see how I did it.
“If you discovered that a homosexual or suspected homosexual was in your area, would you be inclined to:”
1) Kill them with extreme prejudice. Use the machete.
2) Cripple them to force them out of the military.
3) Kill them and make it look like an accident. Incl. vehicular.
4) Let someone know who would kill them.
5) Grab your ankles because some liberal social engineer gets all excited with the idea of you showering with a homosexual.
6) Throw them off a high place.
7) Switchblade in heart then take their wallet.
8) Frag them.
9) Overthrow the government and set up a military dictatorship.
10) Other.
That ain’t no better, takes you to the same unreadable page.
I was helping a new FReeper with HTML posting. Any problem with the blog should be directed to the OP.
The original link and page works fine for me.
Is it a blind survey?
Sorry. I thought you were trying to show him how to correctly link to a page.
Let's see if this works:
I’d like to hear from active duty FReepers; how many have received this survey. I sure as hell haven’t!
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?
I don’t understand. My link works. I just tried it again.
Dang! Now it works for me. There goes that one world government, manchurian, racist president screwing with the internet conspiracy thingy. Guess I’ll go back to the one world government, manchurian, racist president that wants to destroy America one.
Ah, thanks! Didn’t know there was an HTML function. Will try to use next time.
doubt it. My wife said they’ve sent a disproportionate amount to reservists and to enlisted that have less than three years in. They want the results to reflect their direction and it will never be released if it doesn’t. I expect to see typical leftwing poll reporting tactics used.
The people that suffer are the career people that have to deal with the consequences of the added reports, inter-unit squabbles, sexual harassment issues and reporting issues. Imagine how it’ll be to implement a quota system that needs to document the existence of and allocate jobs for homosexuals which provides them a clear path for promotion solely because they’re gay. Imagine what’ll happen when the first bulldyke doesn’t get promoted.
They’re turning the greatest fighting force in modern history into a social experiment.
Feelings are ephemeral: They can and do change. And people can overcome their feelings. That’s why the survey is bogus.
Far more significant and long-lasting are sexual and group dynamics and their effects upon human behavior. That’s what matters, not “feelings.”
Pssst, I think that internet conspiracy thing is scheduled for the near future.
I seem to remember this from my time during my service.
Yeah, they’ll definitely jam it through before this congress is out. Sponsored by Hannity’s dear friend Joe Lieberman.
Ha ha, murder the queers. That's so funny. Why, I'm giggling right now as I imagine sliding a switchblade into the heart of some faggot soldier who volunteered to die in the service of the Constitution or to protect me and his other teammates. Now do one for the women, blacks, and Irish!
