Former member of the House Ways and Means Committee Bob Beauprez (R) says the thirteen charges brought against Charlie Rangel are long overdue.
What's more, Beauprez said he doesn't believe House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was being honest when she said that she is "out of the loop" when it comes to the investigation.
Bob Beauprez told us, "Pelosi knows exactly what's going on here.... She's been part of stalling this process and all of the dots connect to the Speaker of the House."
And just what makes Bob Beauprez qualified to make these claims? Simple. He was a member of the House committee that Rangel chaired-- and he got the inside view on how the sausage was made!
"We're talking about people who don't think they have any rules," Beauprez explained to WebToday. While the former congressman from Colorado doesn't dismiss the possibility that Rangel and another member of the Congressional Black Caucus, Maxine Waters may get off with a slap on the wrist, he also insists public outrage shouldn't be given short shrift either.
Beauprez thinks that Democrat leadership still 'just doesn't get it.' They clearly either don't understand or don't care just how angry the American people are with Congress. Bob cautions that letting the former chairman of Ways and Means off with a warning could have serious repercussions politically. Of all the thirteen charges against Rangel, the tax evasion charge, says Beauprez is a very serious one and if he is allowed to wiggle free of that, thinks the "public outrage is going to be pretty extreme."
So what will the Democrats do now that they're boxed in a corner? They'll do what they always do: They'll play the race card.

What a crock. Nanzi is the loopiest person in Congress.
Out of the loop, but not out of the noose, Nancy.
I know how sausages are made and what ingredients go into them. I have formulated them, calculated the ingredient statements and help make them.
I can PROMISE you that the ingredients are of much higher quality than what goes into our legislation, and the conditions of its manufacture far more sanitary than those under the government creates that legislation...
There’s also a heck of a lot more “transparency” when making sausage. Remember the ingredient statement? I’m beginning to think we need one for legislation (the so ‘n so foundation wrote this part, and the such ‘n such lobbyist group lobbied for this part and ...).
Is the IRS investigating him right now, and if not, why not?
