I recall McCain telling a woman at one of his town hall’s that BO WAS NOT a muslim. McCain would NEVER have allowed ANYONE to use the fact that BO was a muslim as a *bad thing*. He also frowned on those that called him barack HUSSEIN obama.

The media and leftists wanted a black president and even if BO came out and said he was a muslim they wouldn’t have cared. It would have been a bonus to them.
