Wow, this is worse than I imagined.
Bob Woodward, in his classic way of infiltrating a White House, has done so in his most recent book, Obama's Wars.
The chaos from this book is frightening. There is no goal in mind. There is no end game. There is simply academic discussions that are never ending.

It’s intellectually lazy to post your opinions about the details in a book without reading the book. Read the book then do it.
There’s nothing from Woodward worth believing. He’s a fraud. Isn’t he the one who interviewed a dead man?
BTW Woodward lost me with his made up interview with ex-CIA Director Bill Casey back in the 80’s while Casey was on his deathbed. He needed to make it up to do a hatchet job on Reagan. Do me a favor when you do read the book get it from the library so this creep doesn’t get a penny.

Why is anyone surprised by this?
When have Democrats (with the exception of Truman) EVER understood that:
• Forget the La-La land views you had in college, the US recruits, trains, equips, maintains and deploys an army for a reason,…we DO have enemies
• Our enemies WILL challenge us anywhere/anyway possible
• DO NOT shrink from the use of force when/where/how required
• DO NOT BE SEEN to shrink from the use of force, anywhere or anytime!
• Warfare is a last resort…so when committed, FIGHT TO WIN!!
• Make a plan and work the plan-save the ideological repartee for your cocktail parties and WH numbskulls who think warfare is a political tool to be taken up and put down when the whim strikes them
• MSM input is worthless… don’t get involved with the ‘wag-the-dog’ game THEY want
• LIVES ARE AT STAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• Take your head out of you’re a%$ ... it is NOT about YOU! The President’s political career is NOT to be made/enhanced/salvaged with the life of a single soldier-think of it THAT way, and you‘ll keep it in perspective

That some ‘Miss Nobody from Nowhere’, like me, needs to spell this out for the President of the most powerful national entity in the know universe is a pathetic situation

When he had his first meeting on Afghanistan, this is what a President should say:
“Gentleman, victory in Afghanistan is defined by me as destroying the Taliban and Al Queada as an effective fighting force with the ability to terrorize the people of Afghanistan and it’s influence over the population. Having a government that is friendly towards America and it’s policies and is stable enough to combat future threats from Al Queada, the Taliban or any Islamo Fascists forces on it’s own. Now, you gentleman, the experts, tell me how we go about accomplishing these goals.”
It makes me laugh when the moonbats call Woodward a GOP shill and conservatives call him a liberal hatchet man. Woodward’s true master is his own bloated ego and desire for attention. Still it’s fun watching him go after the Obama admin.

Thanks Fred! Not sure I’d heard of it before, but it turned up in the Amazon search for the Woodward book. It’s amusing that a similarly-titled book eulogizing Zero’s can’t-miss approach (which doesn’t exist, apparently) also turned up. :’)
