If the website is offline, my guess is that his basement flooded.
The Post & Email is just a blog, they come and go like the wind.
Checked it out.. it looks like whoever ran that blog goofed when updating their template. When you modify your site in a Wordpress blog, if you replace the template, if you do it the wrong way, it wipes your site out with a brand new one.

If it was a Wordpress site, shouldn’t it have wordpress somewhere in the URL? This seems totally nuts. What happens when a person tries to get to an article with an old link?
Nope, lots of bloggers get a URL and redirect it. You also can download the Wordpress software to your own server.
When I click on a Post&Email link I had at my blog it takes me to a page saying that the page doesn’t exist on this server.
I always get uneasy feelings when web sites just vanish.

no offense personally...but in today’s USA, I have to assume it’s pigsh!t when it smells thataway!
I have a WordPress blog at wordpress.com and they also have wordpress.org blogs; they also just “host” sites w/other URLs, etc.???
I’m an old f@rt, and having not been born w/a chip in me @$$, I don’t pay too much attention to the techie bs—just go by the whiff of things in the air.

During a planned hosting change, The Post & Email was moved but has not been restored properly as of this time. They are working around-the-clock on the problem, but I do not have a time frame as to when it will be up and running again. I have found out that it is a very expensive site to run and maintain, having spent more than $1,000 in the last three months. The last hosting plan promised things that were not delivered, and we were grossly overcharged. I am completely overwrought about what has happened.
In order to recover, we will need your prayers, readership when the site returns, and your financial support. Even $1.00 a month will help a lot to get us back to where we were.
If there is anyone in the reading audience who is a WordPress expert, please contact me at editor@thepostemail.com. This is a very complicated site, and every time work has been done on it, there have been problems. Eventually I would like to have a whole new site designed, but that will be many months down the road if we can survive this.
