Just early voted here in FL, and met ALLEN WEST! Explained that I was very excited to be voting for him, and look forward to one day voting for him for President. I also said there are many blogs I frequent, Ace of Spades, Free Republic, etc that also share my enthusiasm. He wished me a heartfelt thanks to all that we do, and certainly knew of the places I was referring to.
I also had to laugh over the Lady Gaga video. He got quite a chuckle knowing its going viral.
He’s a good man. I’m hoping he can win this one.
I am pulling for him, too.
Enough with the “hope the new conservative candidate runs for POTUS”! That was done with new RINOS Scott Brown, Chris Christie,...It’s sending the wrong message that the GOP has nobody that can truly beat Barack Obama in ‘12, and Barack Obama might not even run again in ‘12. Even if Barack Obama does run again for POTUS in ‘12, I don’t see him winning re-election, unless he, really, does become a more moderate POTUS, after January ‘11.
Scott Brown never called himself a conservative. and what is your beef with Chris Christie.
I can easily see Allen West as a Senator or even VP, assuming he gets a win on November 2.
I’m an Allen West fan, too. What is the Lady GaGa thingie you referred to? I’ve managed to miss it.
When Mr. West ran 2 years ago, I emailed him and wished him well. I was shocked and pleased that he responded to me personally and we corresponded one more time.
He is a gentleman, he is a Patriot, he has honor, and he’s exactly what we need in this country.
I look forward to supporting his Presidential bid sometime in the future. :-)
Met him April 30th......he’s the Real Deal...Steadfast and Loyal!
Why not hope someone completely unheard of in public life before a year or two ago runs?
obama only had less than a senate term before he ran. Who is going to be able to question anyone’s experience with a straight face?
My point is that all of these new GOP elected individuals are barely in their new political offices yet, and there are people who, already, want them to run for ‘12 POTUS, without even seeing what they do in their newly elected positions and without even seeing how well they perform in their newly elected positions. It didn’t take Scott Brown long to “go RINO” with conservatives on some of his votes, as a new U.S. Senator, and many conservatives in New Jersey, who should know New Jersey politics much better than everybody outside of New Jersey, have been giving details about issues where Chris Christie isn’t conservative on (ex. illegal immigration issues, among other social issues).
Wonderful! I would love to see him get elected.
