I know its a bold prediction, especially in light of the poll numbers from the LA Times and the Field Poll, but Meg Whitman is about to take Jerry Brown to the mat. Heres why: 1. Rasmussen has moved the race from Leans Democrat to Toss-up as of their latest report. Its back in the margin of error of 4 points, at 49 to 45 in favor of Brown.

All these optimistic predictions of Republican victories overlook the pending Democratic voter fraud. Voter fraud will decide many close races.
I won't be surprised.
Field Poll-NEVER to be trusted!
I hope you’re wrong, but suspect you’re right.
There is an unusually large number of no response / decline to answer in these polls. I suspect it’s the disaffected Dems.
1. Rasmussen has moved the race from Leans Democrat to Toss-up as of their latest report. Its back in the margin of error of 4 points, at 49 to 45 in favor of Brown.
2. The LA Times/USC poll is wrong. Earlier this week, the LA Times releas
3. The Republican Tsunami will be so large, that Democrats will stay home.
4. The Field Poll is wrong. The Field Poll, which got both the Duekmajian and Wilson elections wrong, has historically overstated the Democrat vote.
5. The Whitman camp is not panicking, because internal polls now have the race as a dead heat, and moving her way.
And one reason why not:
1. It’s California.
Same here. I’ll be voting for Whitman and for what it is worth I have not been polled.
California elected Reagan as Governor.
Reporting Voter Fraud
The Republican Party has set up a National Hotline, which will be staffed with Attorneys to handle polling issues as well as possible voter fraud or intimidation.

An Obama voting, but regretful, dem friend of mine allowed me to pick his votes this year and so he voted all Republican though it was a bit of struggle for me to convince him to vote for Meg instead of Moonbeam. I made sure by watching him fill out his absentee ballot and then observing him mailing it. That was fun. He really was embarassed that he voted for Obama and that spilled over to ALL the other races. He hated Bush and that is why he voted for bambi (I know it doesn’t make any sense but hey he is a dem) however, he says he would prefer Bush to Obama now.
I hope this is happening all over the country. We will know November 2.
...hopefully most CA's feel this way...
Reason six why: Jerry Brown. To quote his own campaign commercials, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.
I’m voting for her and would be pleasantly surprised if she wins - it’s very lonely being conservative here in Sacramento, surrounded by 0bama bumper stickers (although there are a LOT LESS) and Jerry Brown/Boxer/Proud State Employee/SEIU signs...
Keeping the prayer warrior kung fu going!
Wow, definite lib though - wanted someone else to be responsible for their voting this time. That’s some serious 0bama post-traumatic stress syndrome!
Every single “...NN reasons why something will happen...” piece I have read in the past few months has been totally, unequivocally wrong. For example, “11 Reasons Why The Stock Market Will Crash” or “8 Reasons Why Gold Will be at $5,000”. Of course, those things will or might eventually happen but the election is only ONE day.
Yeah, but don't forget the great job he did as mayor of Oakland! </sarcasm>
Fiorina is ahead in the Sacramento area, maybe she can help pull Whitman across the line.
