Humble Harry Reid Says Nevada Win over Angle “was not Close”; Should Not Feel “Chastened” – Video
Freedom's Lighthouse ^ | November 3, 2010 | Brian

Here is video of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid this morning saying his race against Republican Sharron Angle “was not close.” Reid was asked if he should consider himself and fellow Democrats “chastened” by the American people in light of the GOP winning at least six more Senate seats, and at least 60 more House seats. Reid said he didn’t think we should be using “words like chastened.” Instead, we need to be working together, he said.

Reid wound up with a 50%-45% victory over Sharron Angle. Going into the Election, Reid had trailed Angle in the last eight polls done on the race by from one to four points.

Nice to see Harry reward voters with a sense of humility.

No kidding.

The republicans in the house had better seriously address the growing voter fraud issue this time, damn it.

California has quite obviously already crossed the threshhold of banana republic tin pot third world type corruption. How else to discribe the total disconnect between this state and most of the rest of the country, and with 15-20% unemployment for @#%$ sake?

I just listened to Fox for half an hour. The word, "Angle" was not mentioned once.

If this was the theft of epic scale I think it was, where is the outrage? There is no way Rasmussen was that far off.

Steve Pearce won his seat back and Susanna Martinez won Gov. Those are the only results from NM I know of right now.

re: “. . . boycott Nevada”

Look, many, many Nevadans are totally sick about Reid’s winning again. If you look at the voting numbers by county, Reid only won two - Clark and Washoe counties (Las Vegas and Reno).

In other words, two cities gave the election to Reid. These two cities are where the unions have huge influence.

Please don’t kick the rest us in the state who just as sick about this as anyone - worse, because we have to endure this jerk for another six long years.

The only silver lining in this is that his victory is a hallow one - we have a Republican govenor, a new truly conservative Republican house representative who defeated a long time dem, a Republican house rep who retained his seat, and still another senator who is also a Republican.

Reid’s control of the U.S. senate is severly curtailed. Let’s hope and pray the newly elected House will follow through and stop obamacare, cut spending, and secure our borders - as they said they would. God help us if they don’t.

“Humble Harry” probably benefitted from the illegal vote which Obama urged them to cast in order to punish us “enemies”. Harry lives in an alternate universe from the rest of us, and if he can just pass amnesty, he’s sittin’ pretty in his mind.

This race clearly has corruption/fraud written all over it. Hopefully...rather than using the details to force Senate concessions from Harry ...Mitch McConnell will pursue the fraud that compromised the integrity of other Nevadans vote, and ultimately our Federal Senate chamber.

But I doubt it....chirp..chirp...chirp

I don’t think I have ever seen a race so high profile that showed one candidate clearly leading (in every poll) and the other guy wins fairly easy.

Strange.

Voter fraud and a brain dead constituency got this jerk elected. What the h*ll is wrong with the people of Nevada? Is this state made up of a majority of unions and people on welfare?

Reid was close to being the first Senate majority leader since 1946 to loose. That is significant.

Reid is living proof that senile and senator come from the same root word.

I HEREBY AGREE WITH PRESIDENT OBAMA. BOYCOTT LAS VEGAS AND RENO.

In the past I have been to Vegas 3 or 4 times a year...but not once in the past 2 years.

Because of Harry and Obama people can't afford to go to Vegas.

The voters in NV are absolutely insane if they don't get the picture. If they are agreeable to let Harry ruin them so be it...but he has had a negative effect on the whole country!

And he had to buy votes of his own party with our tax dollars to pass Obamacare!

Harry Reid strikes again - new bureaucracy & more Aliens-Travel Promotion Act

From the Christian Science Monitor:

“Democrats plan to continue the strategy with a tourism promotion bill, The tourism bill, especially helpful to states such as Nevada, which has been hard hit by a drop-off in visitors, proposes creating a nonprofit corporation to promote travel to the United States and correct “misperceptions about US entry policy” since the 9/11 attacks. It would be financed by an annual assessment of $20 million from the tourism industry and $100 million a year from taxpayers. “

Let’s dissect this, shall we?

“The tourism bill, especially helpful to states such as Nevada, .......

Harry is behind in the polls for his re-election...just buying some votes!

” proposes creating a nonprofit corporation to promote travel to the United States....

Nonprofit? Since when has any government bureaucracy been for profit?? Will this be another cabinet level department? Yet another Czar? ‘non-profits’ will likely be in charge of handling this department....can you say ACORN???

“to promote travel to the United States and correct “misperceptions about US entry policy” since the 9/11 attacks. “

In other words, let ‘em all in! 40% of foreign aliens become visa overstay illegal aliens. Foreign women, even the well to do, come here to drop their anchor babies and then take them home to grow up as “US voting citizens”, where they don’t even have to be here to vote in our elections..... Or they stay here and get the benefits of any US Citizen. This directly effects countries who sponsor terrorism.

“It would be financed by an annual assessment of $20 million from the tourism industry and $100 million a year from taxpayers. “

Tourism industry....that would be Harry’s big donors at the Vegas casino’s. He must keep those big donors happy! $20 million to them is a great investment to get the rich Saudi’s, etc. in their casinos who can’t get here now because they sponsor terrorism. And the employees? Can you say SEIU???

“and $100 million a year from taxpayers. “ That one speaks for itself!

Harry is real good at spending other people’s money, isn’t he??[snip]

They like their unemployment numbers so much let’s help them out and really show them what unemployment looks like.

The casinos, the union workers...here’s to you. You don’t steal elections without consequences.

You need to do something about the vote fraud in your state.

Nevada is corrupt and no one will ever take your elections seriously because of this. It is time for good people in Nevada to do something about their corrupt state.

As for me....I am emailing everyone I know and encouraging them to take their business elsewhere.

There are other places to throw money away...BOYCOTT NEVADA!!

But yet with all these allegations and implications of fraud, there will be nothing done. Come January, Reid will be sitting in his Fraud won Senate seat. This is frustrating. Nothing will be done about it.
