Of those you mentioned, only Sarah Palin was a politician within the last four years.

You've got "Republican" and "conservative" in the same sentence. They most assuredly do not go together at all times.
However, if you're asking for the name of a conservative that has done the most for conservatism, it would have to be either Rush or Sarah...IMHO!
