I was shocked to learn that he had kids.

Thought he was gay after that shower scene with the congressman.

Considering all the hoops he is going through to try to get on the balot, is anyoine ASKING HIM TO?

I mean besides himself, who wants him to run for mayor?

(or is it just the usual criminal suspects in chicago politics?)

Rahm Emmanuel’s hypocrisy will not matter to the brain dead voters in Chicago. They see a “D” by his name so that means good to them.

When some politician gives that kind of an answer to a direct question like “Will you be sending your children to Chicago Public Schools”, why doesn’t someone standing there say “Ok, that’s a “no”, then”.....and then move on to the next question.

I mean besides himself, who wants him to run for mayor?

Former Sen. Carol Moseley Braun is running; not sure of others.

I don’t blame him one bit. Although my relatives live in Lincolnshire and Arlington Heights which is not too bad. Would he live right in Chicago? Why not live outside of Chicago in the suburbs. Certainly he can afford it.

Yes, Twinkletoes Emmanuel does have kids. Sadly, the gene pool got a tad shallower thereby.

And as to the matter of his not wanting to send HIS kids to Chicago schools: Rahm, get them some firearms training, a .40 cal. Glock and send them. Not sending them would put Rahm near the top of the coveted National Hypocrite Rating Scale.

FYI:

This is what we’re looking forward to in Florida:

Gov.-Elect Rick Scott Hints at School Vouchers for All at St. Petersburg Rally
St. Petersburg Times ^ | December 10, 2010 | Ron Matus and Michael C. Bender
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2641064/posts

He did not use the term vouchers. Others called it an “education savings account.”

Florida Gov.-elect Rick Scott on Thursday blew the door wide open to the idea of a voucherlike program for all students, saying he’s working with lawmakers to allow state education dollars to follow a student to the school his or her parents choose.

“So if the parents want to spend it on virtual school, then spend it on virtual school,” he continued. “If they want to spend it on whatever education system they believe in, whether it’s this public school or that public school or this private school or that private school, that’s what ought to happen.”

“The way I look at it is, we’re allocating dollars to students and the parents ought to figure out how to spend those dollars because they can figure out what their child needs more than anybody else,” he said.

The state would deposit money into a child’s “savings account” instead of channeling education dollars through the public system.

The proposal would allow parents to take an undetermined percentage of the state’s per-student funding amount last year, it was $6,843 and direct it to the school of their choice, public or private.

The teachers unions will rightly view any such initiative as a declaration of war. FL will be the proxy battle ground for a national discussion on the purpose of schooling. But then teachers unions represent the needs of teachers not the need of students.

Comments:

Michelle Rhee has joined Rick Scott’s education transition team. Only good can come from that. As chancellor of the D.C. Public Schools, she fired 400 teachers in four years and butted heads with their unions.

“Kids are getting a really crappy education right now,” Rhee said emphatically in the award-winning documentary “Waiting for Superman.” She’s a strong advocate for ending teacher tenure and implementing merit pay.

Her service to Scott and Florida is unpaid! - 19

Rahm is very religious. He and his family went to Israel to have his son bar mitzvahed. Ms Rule (Mrs E) converted to Judaism when they wed. The Emanuels tax-exempt foundation gave nearly $25,000 to the Anshe Emet synagogue school [a private religious school that Rahm's children attend].

This pic alone should get the little guy elected.

Rahm sheds a tear at Kotel (the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem) with his son. Rahm was once in the Israeli military.

======================================

BACKSTORY January 2007 USA Today reported on Emanuel and his wife’s tax-exempt "foundation" (operated out of their Chicago residence).

The tax-exempt "Rahm Emanuel and Amy Rule Charitable Trust" was formed in 2002, when the 4-term Chicagoan was first elected to Congress. Rahm and his wife, Amy Rule (a convert to Judaism), are its only donors.

Rahm doesn’t pay any property taxes and he gets income tax write-offs----this allows his kids to attend school tuition-free and allows him to expense a lot of personal expenses.

Rahm also "donates" to his Foundation (thus shielding income from taxes); his wife apparently draws a salary from the foundation. They reported having $2,900 on hand at the end of 2005, receiving $34,000 from Emanuel and donating more than $31,000. Rahm also donated $25,000 to his Synagogue.

Emanuel’s tax-exempt foundation gave nearly $25,000 to the Anshe Emet synagogue and school [a private school that Rahm's children attend], and $15,000 to the foundation run by former president Bill Clinton. It also gave $14,000 to Marwen, a Chicago charity that provides art classes and other educational help to low-income children. Ms Rule is on Marwen’s board.

Chicago pols collude with the Tax Collector to "delist" their properties.....to shield pols from paying taxes.

The Illinois Review News reported then-Congressman Rahm Emanuel and his wife did not pay real estate taxes b/c according to the Cook County Assessor’s website multi-millionaire Rahm Emanuel's Chicago home didnt’t exist. There seemed to be no public record of Emanuel ever paying property taxes on this home.

The Cook County Assessor’s and Cook County Treasurer’s online records indicated Emanuel’s neighbors pay between $3,500-$7,000 annually. The Illinois Review News organ's investigative reporters was unable to locate any evidence that Emanuel--- a multi-millionaire---was paying taxes.

AMNESTY WHORE GUTIERREZ A TAX CHEAT The same Chicago tax assessor that finagled Rahm's taxes, once carried the home of amnesty whore and a former cab driver Cong Luis Guiterrez (D-Ill) on the tax rolls as a "vacant lot."

The assessor argued---- after the story became public----that Guiterrez should not be penalized for a "clerical error" ....

This came after Guiterrez paid minimal taxes for years and years...... b/c Guiterrez' home was listed on the tax rolls as a vacant lot.

Cong Gutierrez (D-Ill) has made a career out of helping illegal aliens drain whatever they could out of America.

Good chance Gutierrez was aiding and abetting govt financial fraud and ID fraud. How many fake ID's were used to bilk govt agencies?

City investigating program that helped daughter of Gutierrez D-ILL---The Chicago Sun Times | May 4, 2010 |

The City of Chicago's inspector general has opened an investigation into an affordable-housing program under which U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez's daughter was able to buy a condominium at a discount, despite family income of more than $93,000, and resell it after 14 months at a 55 percent profit.(Excerpt) Read more at suntimes.com ...

FBI agents ask about Gutierrez, developer The FBI has interviewed City Hall employees and Chicago aldermen (a former cab driver) about U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez's ties to a corrupt developer, according to records and interviews that raise new questions about the congressman amid an ongoing federal investigation.

A former alderman convicted in the investigation told FBI agents that Gutierrez boasted of helping his longtime political supporter Calvin Boender obtain a lucrative zoning change for a development on the city's West Side. Another alderman told agents this year she thought Gutierrez was going to buy a home in the development. (Excerpt) Read more at chicagotribune.com ..

If Rahm is religious, he shouldn’t be pushing leftist evil junk that is against the tenets of Judaism.

Nope, was not there; you will not find me anywhere near a gym shower in DC.

However, I’m sure you remember the story about Rahm poking the congresscritter in the chest with his finger and cussing while standing naked in the shower. Sure seemed gay to me.

Yes I do. He seems light in the loafers for sure. You know I was just kidding in my original post to you right? I would never disrespect a FRiend like that. It was totally a joke and actually pretty funny. I sincerely hope you took it that way.

Oh, I did not realize you were kidding. To be honest, I did not understand your comment. However, rest assured that I am not easily insulted. Text never communicates perfectly, and I must admit that I am not a great wordsmith.

At any rate, I hope my comment on Rahm provided mirth as was my intention. Democrats provide entertainment unintentionally every day.

Freep on!
