In 40-some years of sitting in Baptist services, including the height of the anything-with-a-beat-is-of-the-devil era, I have actually heard preachers refer to the Fats Domino classic, Blueberry Hill. They expounded, mostly, on the innuendo of what found my thrill really meant
However, not one, not one of them even those who claimed the Beatles couldnt sing, it was just primal screaming referred to Blueberry Hill as hard rock.
Leave that to Keith Olbermann. Oh, and by the way, nobody has used the term hard rock in about a decade
Fittingly, this bit of musical critique came in Olbermanns Oddball segment, in which he played a genuinely funny and bizarre clip of Vladimir Putin doing his best to promote a new Domino Theory:
