Revelation that the guest list for Prince William’s wedding next year won’t include the Obamas has sparked a diplomatic crisis. Sources inside the US State Department confirm that President Obama is considering severing diplomatic relations with the United Kingdom, a nation once held to be our closest ally.
“This is a royal snub if you ask me,” said the President’s visibly angry Press Secretary Robert Gibbs. “After all this country has done for the Brits—bailing them out in two World Wars, boosting the careers of the Beatles and Rolling Stones, adopting their language as our own—to be stabbed in the back like this is unforgivable.”
While the President himself is said to be taking the affront “stoically,” First Lady Michelle and his two daughters are reportedly “devastated.” “Participating in a royal wedding is every young girl’s dream,” said a tearful Michelle. “To have that dream crushed by those you thought were your friends cuts deep. I will be talking to the President about the appropriate response our government should take on this insult.”

It’s really sad that this could be in fact true instead of satire.
Sort of, except that Obama hates the Brits so much it would really be hard to make it seem that he felt “snubbed” by them.

The Royal Family is is disgusted with Obama the Ipad that the Queen Received did not even work. As well as the bust of Churchill was received and the Royal Family was billed for the postage. Obama sent it postage due The US Dollars is not as strong as it once was and the Queen was disappointed in that the bust was returned. It was a sign of Goodwill. Obama also sent the Royal Family a bill for the Americn Revoltion and the War of 1812. he figured since it took Germany 90 plus years to pay back the world for WWI, he could at least get some money from the losers. He figured reparations had to come from Great Britain, he had to find some way to make some cash.

The break in ties with the UK started with Obama returning the bust of Winston Churchill from the Oval Office and giving the Queen an Ipod with his speeches.
To date, Elizabeth has been the only queesn he has snubbed - all the other queens he lets marry and screw up (pun?) the military.

I caught on when I read the line above that that read:
