Palin on Polls Showing her Trailing Obama: If I Join the Race “I Would be in it to Win It” – Video

Here is video of Sarah Palin being asked about current polls showing her trailing President Obama in a potential 2012 Election matchup. She responds that if she decides to join the GOP primary race, “I would be in it to win it.”

Palin is right that her participation in a GOP Primary battle would give her many opportunities to demonstrate that she has a clear grasp of the issues, and plenty of time to counter the perception built up by the Left and the Liberal Media that she is not up to the job. In addition, if she gets the nomination, her head-to-head debates with Obama would give her the chance to do the same. Expectations by the media would be that Obama would run circles around Palin, but she would have the chance to show otherwise. I think she would do great in debates with Obama. Unlike John McCain, Palin would not be afraid to get tough with him on his radical associations and his socialist agenda to remake (“radically transform”) America in the image of a Socialist European country.

Sarah is so underestimated when it comes to understanding domestic policy issues. She's a king/queen-maker as 70% of her endorsements won their elections. However, Krauthammer is right in that she does need to take time out and become intimately familiar with international politics, the people, the issues. If she allows herself to develop the breadth to match her depth, she will be formidable. She, and she alone, can call out the evil-intent of foreigners and be spot-on. If she doesn't educate herself, the media will set her up again, and make Dumbo Obama look like a political genius.

However, she lost me with the promotion of the daughter on Dancing with the Stars. I loved the TLC Alaska show--and it was a perfect venue to promote Alaskan travel, her genuineness, etc. Bristol on Dancin' was a set-up she was bound to lose--to a professional dancer at that! The public is NO place for her daughter. Has she even graduated from high school yet? And what's she doing to make a life for her and her son? The Bristol Palin story is another version of MTV Teen Mom and the dancin' exposure was beneath the dignity of a Presidential run.

Obama can't think on his feet. Sarah can.

Bristol Palin earned 350K+ from DWTS. That will go a long way towards caring for herself and her son. Bristol is a 20 year-old adult and can do what she wants. Sarah supported her daughter in her decision to dance and you sound like an old prune. You've earned an A+ in PDS. Get a life.
