The Bowl Championship Series is the worst thing ever to happen to college football. If anything, the BCS destroys a chance for quality teams to face off every year. I like bowls. I enjoy all of the games. I enjoy watching Southern Mississippi’s offense every December. I enjoy seeing some of the smaller FBS schools, like San Diego State, Nevada and Troy get some national exposure. But I hate the BCS. It destroys rivalries, burns its chance to create new rivalries and alienates teams from getting into the national title hunt.

These kids need to be in school, but the Big 10 (12), Pac 10 (12) and SEC will do anything for the dollars.
The Blue Hens? If not for a winning record, you would have never heard of Boise State.

Hey genius, Delaware is playing Eastern Washington in the Div 1AA championship, the FCS. If you paid attention you would know that the match up was determined by a playoff system. Both teams had to win 3 playoff games to get into this game. By the way, where did the Baltimore Ravens quarterback,Joe Flacco, play his college ball.
The Delaware game is the result of a PLAYOFF system. The game should have been played two weeks ago but the schools did not want to play on Christmas day

I'd also like to see no major league baseball after Halloween, no pro football after Epiphany, no basketball after Easter Sunday, and, especially, no ice hockey after Memorial Day (a few years ago, the last professional ice hockey game was played two days before the summer solstice).
Since the BCS guy and his little excel spreadsheet lives not far from our house, our neighborhood is gonna start it's own bowl.
