To me, it is art. Plain and simple. Look at the pictures with that wonderful, big sky. It is breath-taking.

Stacking hay bails is a good way to keep kids from getting bored.

yep. If you’re so interested in moving the hay around, why don’t you take the hay out of that half full barn and put it in that barn with the straw. Course you’ll have to re stack the straw on one side to make room for the hay.

They should have gotten the local pastor to give permission for the kids to hold a dance instead.

Because straw and hay are harvested in different seasons, for different reasons. Hay is food and straw is bedding.

Ha Ha Ha;)

My dad probably would've said, "Well if you have that much extra time and energy, why don't you..."

Better to just hide my shenanigans, or make them look like someone else's handiwork.

A family around here with a dozen kids, their Dad told them to rotate the hay in the loft every Saturday morning to keep them out of their Mother’s hair.

Not to take anything away from the ingenuity...but, if these are designed and built by American kids in the heartland(?) ...there are a few things that make me think these are from England:

#2 has British flags flying from the fort
#3 is a remarkable copy of Stonehenge
#7 looks like the Big Wheel in London
some of the pics have mountains in the background, which makes me think of valleys in the midlands of England as well.

JMHO on reviewing the pics!

The email I got this in had a bunch of kids with Halloween themed bail art... so perhaps mixed batch

Good observation, NCD-
