WMAL: Grandy Not Gagged On Islamic Talk - 3/5 - Midday Saturday, DCRTV received the following statement from WMAL's President/General Manager Jeff Boden: "WMAL did not terminate Fred Grandy's employment, and never had any intention to do so. Fred informed us on March 2 of his intention to resign from the station. To be clear, at no time has WMAL told Fred that he was not allowed to discuss his views on Islam over the air. In fact, he has done so on numerous occasions. Further, WMAL has not been contacted by any organization seeking to restrict his broadcasts. Bryan Nehman continues to anchor our morning program and in the interim will be joined by several notable guest hosts and regular contributors. WMAL remains committed to its goal of providing a forum for discussing a broad spectrum of issues while delivering compelling programming including Chris Plante, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin. I wish Fred success in his future endeavors".....

I pull my 1988 Coleman Plantation with either my 1993 Buick Roadmaster Wagon or my 1976 Custom Cruiser. They have the torque to get off the line and still fit the whole fam damley. It is 2200 lbs after all with 200 lbs tongue weight.

And Bryan Nehman is a nice guy, but I have learned nothing from him, and I won’t be listening to the show without Mr Grandy AND Mrs Fred. Dang !!! Fred never intentionally mis-pronounced Nehman's name and gave him a "Helllo, Newman" [ala Seinfeld] ... I ALWAYS wanted to hear him say that when they were having a difference of opinion.

I don’t have any problem with you posting the station’s release. I don’t know who Fred is, but if the station is continuing to carry Hannity and Limbaugh, I can’t imagine he was canned because of pressure from CAIR.
