Saturday, Commander Awesome and his trusty Secretary of State told the world very clearly that it was time for the colonel to vamoose:
“He has lost the legitimacy to rule and needs to do what is right for his country by leaving now.”
By the end of the Sunday talk show cycle, Admiral Mullen had either over-ruled Awesome, or Awesome had changed his mind. (Reminiscent of course of John Kerry’s “I voted for the bill before I voted against it.) Mullen described the campaign’s aims as “limited,“ saying it ”isn’t about seeing him (Gadhafi) go.”
Hold your horses. Today, Awesome tells us that he really DOES want Gadhafi out after all: “I have stated that it is U.S. policy that Gadhafi has to go.” But you also just told us that “the international military has a more limited goal.” Just shoot me.
Perhaps Awesome can leverage the colonel’s deep feelings, (“Even if, God forbid, there were a war between Libya and America, you would remain my son and I would still love you.”) and simply ask him to leave. (Pretty please, with sugar on it, of course.)
Hell, when Awesome was running for savior king president he told us the world would be a better place if we just talked nicely to it. Given his lack of intestinal fortitude, what’s he got to lose?
Stay tuned; Rat’s sure chapter three’s right around the corner. These characters couldn’t avoid it if they tried.

The left is in a panic over this. Obama, The DNC, the MSM and his followers.
I just watched part of Rachel Maddow’s show. She was discussing the situation in Lybia and how Obama was, apparently, doing such a great job or at lest better then Bush.
To prove this she played clips of Bush in his 2000 campaign, his Father and Regan in 1890. After making fun of all three, though most was aimed at Bush 43, she played a few clips of Obama.
However with Obama, she did not play any audio of him speaking. Just the video that she talked over praising his handling compared to Bush.
Wonder why that was needed, even on MSNBC…

What “international military” is he talking about? The UN doesn’t have one, thank God, and NATO at the moment is making the Keystone Kops look like the Marine Corps drill team. The Salvation Army, maybe?
