Watching America Fall From Within

The gunshots got me to thinking, as I often do, about the deplorable and steadily deteriorating spiritual and mental condition of many of the American people nowadays, especially the younger ones. And, seeing how stoically the Japanese people are reacting to the unimaginable horror of the earthquake and tsunami, compared to, say, American union members, along with college “students,” behaving like spoiled brats at the prospect of public sector union members having to pay their way a little more, only drove it home for me.

It was last Friday evening, shortly before sundown. My husband and I were on our front porch enjoying the perfect spring weather and getting the grill ready for a little barbeque for the two of us. We live immediately south of the railroad tracks, just a couple of blocks off the beach. To the north, across the tracks, is a predominantly Democrat neighborhood where crime is fairly common.

So there we were, when, from across the tracks, a loud gunshot rang out, then two more, then a brief pause, and finally three more shots. The two of us stared at the little white house across from us where an older, widowed black lady lives and from where the shots came. A couple of years ago, she let one of her deadbeat grown kids move back in with her, and since then, because of all the “friends” coming and going from there, it has not been the quiet little house it used to be.

This is the second time something like this has happened. On this past New Years Eve, those kids fired a shotgun in the air toward the field right next to us. My husband was outside and heard the pellets falling through the trees to the ground a few seconds after they fired. That time, they immediately got in their car and left after firing the shotgun. This time, I was not going to stand for it. I grabbed the phone and dialed the police.

As I was on the phone with the dispatcher, right after the shots were fired, three young black men came out from behind the house. They proceeded to get in their vehicle to leave, as they had done on New Year’s Eve. Fortunately, the kids dallied just long enough for three police cruisers to respond before they left. The police response time was amazingly fast, maybe three minutes.

To make a long story longer, the police told us they could do nothing, because no one actually saw any of the dirtbags with a gun. Hearing shots fired from a gun at that location is apparently not enough to search those young hoods or the premises for a smoking gun, and even though we could hear the punks getting belligerent with the cops, the policemen did not detain them for more than a few minutes. Needless to say, we were disgusted.

Why am I telling you this useless story? Because I see this kind of thing as a symptom of a deep and deadly illness that infects the body of our nation. Yes, I believe it is deadly, and our nation will not survive it. I’m not trying to depress anyone, but I am a realist. I’ve read the Book, and I know how the story ends. We’re not getting out of this deal.

Don’t get me wrong here. I know there are still many, many America-loving patriots who are horrified at what we’ve been seeing in our country for years and what many of us have finally awakened to see in our fellow zombie Americans, especially in the past couple of years that our government has literally gone hog wild like we’ve never seen before. I believe it took the fraudulent “election” of Barack Obama to open our eyes to the deplorable welfare entitlement state that exists and flourishes in our country, not to mention the extent of communist infiltration of our government and institutions. Cloward and Piven must be so proud!

I know there are many people who pray for our nation, and it may very well be those prayers are what has stood between us and destruction for this long. But, now the time is running short. The poisoned program of darkness has seeped into every area of our society. It’s everywhere you look. We’re watching our nation fall from within.

The latest generation of kids raised on socialist programming in the public schools is an example. Not only are our young people being miseducated by a steady diet of Marxist religion, but millions of them have been drugged since their youngest days with various psychotropic drugs like Ritalin, antidepressants and antipsychotics.

In an excellent report titled, “The Wholesale Sedation of America’s Youth,” Dr. Andrew Weiss notes,

“So, family physicians became society’s instruments: the suppliers of choice for legal mood-altering drugs. But medical practitioners required scientific authority to protect their reputations, and the public required a justification for its drug-seeking behavior. The pharmaceutical companies were quick to offer a pseudoscientific conjecture that satisfied both. They argued that neurochemical transmitters, only recently identified, were in fact the long sought after mediators of mood and activity. Psychological complaints, consequently, were a function of an imbalance of these neural chemicals that could be corrected with stimulants and sedatives (and later antidepressants and antipsychotics). While the assertion was pure fantasy without a shred of evidence, so little was known about the brain’s true actions that the artifice was tamely accepted. This would later prove devastating when children became the targets of pharmaceutical expansion.”

It’s gotten so crazy, that there are some so-called “experts” that push for giving mind-altering drugs to babies as young as 1 year old. I don’t mean to go off on a rabbit trail here, but I have long been greatly disturbed by this explosion of mental illness diagnoses of children and adults—diagnoses such as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and the like. I’m also thinking of the millions of adults who regularly take psychotropic drugs, as well. It makes no sense, unless you look deeper into the crumbling spirit of our country. We’re losing our sense of truth, of personal responsibility and a moral foundation. We’re raising a generation of drug addicts. Those drugs for ADD are amphetamines—speed—and they’re addictive and dangerous (just read the side effects for starters)!

I could go on and freak people out by noting that at some point, most people quit acknowledging the reality and commonplace occurrence of demon possession, but I’ll save that argument for another time.

Look at the deplorable “entertainment” that our country feeds on. Some of what passes for “music” nowadays nicely illustrates our society’s rapid descent into the abyss. The music is only a part of it.

We were visiting friends in Alabama over the weekend, and they had their television on in the background, tuned to some cable channel. I looked up to see two men kissing. We were shocked and sickened, and the television was quickly turned to a different channel. Since we don’t have a television in our home, I was unaware of how utterly degenerate the programming has become.

The radical homosexual movement is aggressively on the march in our nation. Perversity is being pushed on the people of America with the demand that perversity be proclaimed as normal and acceptable. Since Obama invaded the presidency, he has gone a long way in homosexualizing the power places in our government and military. Between communists and homosexuals and combinations of the two, you’ve pretty much got his administration covered.

We face people in our nation who want to tear down our way of life. There are the biophobic environmentalists who detest the human population and all forms of energy that people use. These biophobes would love nothing more than to see the population of the earth slashed and the rest of us living in huts with no power and certainly no vehicles to drive.

Then there’s the entitlement mentality which millions of Americans have embraced. We saw it glaringly on display in Wisconsin, and it may end up being a good thing that we did see it. These people, old and young, out there protesting for the most ridiculous of reasons really did not sit well with the American public—you know, the people who pay the salaries and pensions of those union ingrates.

There is so much more I could say. We are falling from within, but we have also allowed an invasion from without. The open border with Mexico has permitted countless millions of illegal aliens to invade our country. We have also opened our country to a huge amount of Muslim immigrants who are steadily working toward their goal of Islamic Shariah law domination in America.

What is the purpose of this rambling column? The purpose is not to make you feel hopeless, even though I personally don’t hold out much hope for the future of America. The purpose is to be a warning to know the truth as only found in God’s Word and to not cling to false hope and optimism. Don’t put your faith in the Republicans in Washington. Look what happened in November. We swept many new conservatives into our government, but what are they doing? They are being squeamish about putting the axe to Obamacare to defund it, until or unless we can take back the White House and Senate to repeal the hellish thing. The Republicans have the power to defund it, but they’re not doing it.

Those of us who are Christians, who know our Bible, know that the chance of reversing the trend of immorality in our nation is very slim. The whole world is moving toward the inevitable point foretold in the Bible of the global satanic regime. We’re very close. There is no place for American sovereignty in that picture. We will ultimately be assimilated.

That makes it imperative that we put our faith and trust in the only one who can save us in the end. Look to the Lord, and keep your hope in Him. As we watch our country fall from within, those of us who know the Lord have a sure hope of a future that is literally out of this world. Don’t lose your hope, your peace, and your joy that only God can give, as you watch the inevitable downfall of our nation and world. He is already there and waiting for us at the end.

Very, very good! Watching America, that is, America as the USA die is very painful, but God has his plans. After this demonic age, peace will return to the world. And there’s no doubt in my mind that a new America, a Christian Kingdom, will be reborn on the blood of her martyrs and her patriots.

An excellent essay. I’ve had this feeling for a long, long, time. The USA has become the ancient Canaanites, who sacrificed their children to Molech.

And once a society does that, destruction isn’t far behind.

“The America of my time line is a laboratory example of what can happen to democracies, what has eventually happened to all perfect democracies throughout all histories. A perfect democracy, a ‘warm body’ democracy in which every adult may vote and all votes count equally, has no internal feedback for self-correction. It depends solely on the wisdom and self-restraint of citizens… which is opposed by the folly and lack of self-restraint of other citizens. What is supposed to happen in a democracy is that each sovereign citizen will always vote in the public interest for the safety and welfare of all. But what does happen is that he votes his own self-interest as he sees it… which for the majority translates as ‘Bread and Circuses.’

‘Bread and Circuses’ is the cancer of democracy, the fatal disease for which there is no cure. Democracy often works beautifully at first. But once a state extends the franchise to every warm body, be he producer or parasite, that day marks the beginning of the end of the state. For when the plebs discover that they can vote themselves bread and circuses without limit and that the productive members of the body politic cannot stop them, they will do so, until the state bleeds to death, or in its weakened condition the state succumbs to an invader—the barbarians enter Rome.”

And at the same time, seeing the end is nigh, the “Elites”, the wealthy, well educated and influential.......start bailing out. And that’s another sign of the decline from within. It explains a lot. It explains why, each election cycle, the quality of the candidates deteriorates. It explains how it has come to pass that the Fed and it’s Banks have taken over the operation of the economy without challenge. It explains how Obama can make war in Libya without consulting Congress and finally, it explains why no one in Congress will challenge Obama on this unconstitutional usurpation of authority. And against this back-drop of abandonment, one can see that the higher “organs” of gov’t appear to be playing out a script rather than operating independently as would the institutions of a sovereign nation.

Same message, said differently:

"The Roman Republic fell, not because of the ambition of Caesar or Augustus, but because it had already long ceased to be in any real sense a republic at all. When the sturdy Roman plebeian, who lived by his own labor, who voted without reward according to his own convictions, and who with his fellows formed in war the terrible Roman legion, had been changed into an idle creature who craved nothing in life save the gratification of a thirst for vapid excitement, who was fed by the state, and who directly or indirectly sold his vote to the highest bidder, then the end of the Republic was at hand, and nothing could save it. The laws were the same as they had been, but the people behind the laws had changed, and so the laws counted for nothing.”

Good read. However, I do want to state that SOME kids really need some of these meds to function, and to be successful in their endeavors. My son was having a terrible time in high school maintaining his grades and focus on school. At 17, we finally put him on a dose of ADD medication — it enabled him to graduate and to move forward with his life. And he’s far from a drug addict — has enrolled in community college and is progressing well now, and is taking no medication at this point.

One might need to ask WHY our kids need these meds? Is there something in the environment that has changed their brains? I have this son and one w/ mild autism ...something definitely effected my sons. I have an older daughter who never needed meds and who was a high achiever in school and still is in the work world.

However I do agree than many of our young people are under the grip of a philosophy that is pure evil. The homosexual lobby just has their claws into them. Don’t EVEN try to be among a group of young people anymore and say anything derogatory about homosexuals or the lifestyle ..they’ll rip you to shreds. They are absolutely indoctrinated.

It’s almost impossible to get motivated to become productive and creative member of society. Why bother when nearly everyone is in the country is a piece of trash? Of course, there are still people worth helping (mainly children and the “great generation”) but you can’t really help them anyway. No matter what you do the leftist vermin will still find a way to destroy most of them.

It is so very easy to do evil and so very hard to do good. That’s why the vermin win the battle so easily! We have to work 1000X as hard!

I get up in the morning to pay the bills and that’s it. If I accidentally stumble upon someone who is worth helping than I’ll help them. The rest are to be treated as less than human. They are even less than feral animals. They are a deadly virus known as leftist vermin. Not only will I refuse to treat them with respect and dignity, I will treat them with savage brutality. No words will be spoken.

I’m 26 and I don’t have a single friend my age. My generation is the most disgusting and worthless generation in the entire history of humanity. Even the ones who seem to be nice and decent people are usually harboring hidden corruption. I would estimate that only 20-30% of young adults are actual human beings.

If the boomers don’t fully run this country to the ground, the 20 somethings will crush it utterly.

I fear for my two baby nephews who will never know anything other than misery, poverty, chaos, and horror. Worse yet there is nothing I can do to protect them.

Soothesayer, I know what you mean. I have worked w/ a lot of young people as a nurse — (I started the profession later in life). I am just generally very wary of them after sitting and listening in on their conversations. Many that i know well are very liberal, are very open about gays homosexuality, abortion, etc. Several of the nurses I’d worked with had already had MULTIPLE abortions — they take it so casually — like it’s no big deal. A couple claim to be lesbians ...and the way I see it ..they are just into experimentation with it. NONE seem to have any serious plans to marry ever, or settle down. It’s just not done ...they’re too busy partying, traveling, wasting time, etc.

All of that said, I have a 23 year old daughter who is a fantastic young gal — very successful so far. Howver, she lives in NYC, indpendently, has a boyfriend, and I have very little control over her life at this point. I worry about her — she’s a bit too casual w/ the boyfriend at times ...but overall, she’s a great person.I don’t think you can always generalize ....however, on the whole, what I’ve seen so far I’m just not that impressed with younger people today. I’m 47 and in “my day” most kids were pretty ambtious - at least the ones I knew. Today they seem to lack ambition and caring about their fellow man.

Anyway, don’t give up hope ..if you’re friends w/ older people so be it. I do feel there are great young folks out there ... you just have to dig a bit deeper.

You could say its Obamacide, but all of this has been developing for a very long time. I believe the 60’s ushered in most of this rot — it’s just been fermenting and accelerating. This election was a symptom of it all ...

Sometimes I see hope ...the love of my family, seeing a newborn child, spending time w/ children, younger kids, etc. But the most hope we have is in Christ — that is how it’s always been.

Things have become so awful that I made the decision to never have a family. Even though there would have been nothing I’d love better than to watch my kids grow up, that just isn’t an option. I cannot allow them to live in a communist hellhole and risk their corruption and destruction. Adoption would be a second choice if only the system didn’t regard them as state property to be taken away at the slightest sign that I’m not brainwashing them into the ways of the world. The vermin generation have taken all my dreams away. Now I am merely trying to get done with life until the gift of death arrives.

I’m also starting a career in health-care and very afraid of overhearing those types of conversations you mentioned. I simply cannot work with people who believe their patients and even their own children are disposable sacks of meat. Not only that, but I lack the willpower to “suck up” to enemies of humanity. It’s going to be a BIG problem.

Oh, Soothsayer ...if you find someone - I’d advise you to have a family. I just might advise you to go live in a farm and become self sufficient w/ that family ...I just would reject the “system” we’re in now and make up my own, live off the land, etc.

I know it must be hard on a person your age ...you might want to become a bit more oblivious to it, so as not to torture yourself too much over it. It’s sort of always been bad, though — that’s why you MAKE a life of your own ...as a comfort and a defense against all of it.
