Samantha Power is the Special Assistant to President Obama. She has his ear and advises him on foreign policy, amongst other things. In a video newly discovered, she states that the United States should spend "billions" on a "new" Palestinian state, while putting troops on the ground to support that effort...
Here is a partial transcript (emphasis mine):
Power- What we need is a willingness to actually put something on the line in, sort of, helping the situation. And putting something on the line might mean alienating a domestic constituency of tremendous political and financial import. It may, more crucially, mean sacrificing, or investing more than sacrificing literally billions of dollars not in servicing Israeli military but actually investing in the new state of Palestine; in investing billions of dollars it would probably take also to support, I think, what will have to be a mammoth protection force...a meaningful military presence because, it seems to me at this stage, and this is true of actual genocides as well and not just major human rights abuses which we're seeing there, but is that you, you have to go in as if you're serious.
You have to put something on the line and unfortunately, imposition of a solution on unwilling parties is dreadful... but sadly, you know, we don't just have a democracy here either. We have a liberal democracy... but [Israel] requires external intervention.

I had wondered, since BO always used each position as a calling card to the next, (community organizer, senator, president, etc.), what position he would use the WH as a calling card for. It’s starting to appear President “Citizen Of The World” wants to be World Community Organizer-In-Chief.
I think America should invite each and every Jew in Israel to move to the United States. We can easily accommodate all 6 - 7 miilion of them.

I don’t believe her Irishnicity’s the problem, nor am I aware of any long-standing Irish antisemitism (ask Robert Briscoe); but she’s clearly of the Bernadette Devlin variety of communist/socialist that we agree, I’m sure, have and will continue to hurt both mother-lands.
They also took the majority of the land set aside for Israel and at the last minute set it aside as a home to the Arabs living in Palestine. That country was named Jordan.
